So much this too.

A recent buying experience with multiple Toyota dealers have put me off of the brand. I don’t know if I’ll bother going back.

Walking into the Lexus dealer was a breath of fresh air. I didn’t have to deal with add-ons, markups, or hard upsells in the F&I office. They also offered more than anyone

If tire and brake wear is damage, I just learned something new.

I think you’re arguing with me on areas where we agree, but alas.

I see your point, but I think incentives that restrict people based on income or AGI are not considering that income doesn’t equal need.

The argument could be made that income isn’t a determinant of need. Also, a higher income earner is also paying more in taxes, and thus should benefit from the incentives that they’re more effectively subsidizing.

I’ve said this before, but I don’t think the current battery and charging tech of EVs are ready for scale, yet.

I don’t think we’ll hear the death rattle of ICEs yet.

I’m all about an EV future, but the future is not now, yet.

The rules and restrictions for all of these rebates and tax credits is so unnecessarily complicated. Credits and rebates should be available to all buyers, regardless of income. To say that someone who makes more money doesn’t need or deserve a credit as someone who sits just under a threshold is absolute nonsense.

Awe, thanks for the kind words. You’ve added so much with your comments!

You made a lot of assumptions about my views, but here’s a quick reply.

There are systemic issues in law enforcement and the justice system. Issues in either of these systems is complicated on its own, it becomes even more complex as law enforcement and the justice system are inextricably connected, at least as they

How can this problem be fixed?

Why bother with a reply if you begin with a nasty, dismissive statement?

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with what I wrote, and asked.

I also see your points, and agree with some of your reply. However, superlatives are good to evoke an emotional response, but reduce the credibility of an argument if they can’t be

Let me modify this for you.

I know some cops are not model citizens, but to what end were these specific officers, and prosecutor even trying to frame this poor woman? Who does it benefit? Do they just do this sort of thing for sport or something?

I’m not good with this blanket assessment of cops. Do some cops lie? Yes. Do regular citizens lie? Yes.

Is it right in either situation?

Reduce the chance of these false accusations happening if prosecutors are held liable for the same jail time? Seems like you clean things up pretty quickly to me.

And you’ve peeled back another layer of dysfunction in the US federal, and local law enforcement, justice and court systems. The playing field isn’t level.

Despite a “innocent until proven guilty” tagline, it seems that the truth is quite contrary. Lives of the wrongly accused and their families are forever changed,

The new one just seems like a big stupid joke. They are unattractive from every angle, which may also be a theft deterrent.

Hmm. So on the side mirrors. My car has cameras on the underside of the side mirrors. I think those cameras are mostly/only used for the 360 view. I suppose they could mount cameras to the bodyside. Tesla does that?

From a design redundancy perspective, I think there’s a way to benefit aerodynamics and have physical

I think it is a wonderful city, but walkable, or easily navigable without a car it is not.

100%

I think you missed my point.

Camera views aren’t yet a replacement for good old fashioned mirrors. To your point about dirt/water, cameras should be an add on, but not a replacement for mirrors. My rearview mirror can be analog or video. I have a choice.
