Interesting take.
Interesting take.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but I think its far more complicated than shilling for the energy companies.
From what I’ve read about the people, the economy and the culture, there’s no easy fix. Many ghost towns dot the forgotten highways of the country when a singular industry built up an area, only for the area…
I used to not think much of Manchin, but I’ve gotten into learning more about West Virginia and understand his brand and take on the Democratic party. Look into the history of coal mining and how miserable life was for coal miners and their families before the Democrats and unions started to give the people some…
An apartment complex in Charlotte, NC without parking seems foolish. Full stop.
Fair. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
My issue is not with Rivian, but rather with the gosh darn awful look of the “winner”.
B’Gosh, I wonder if they’ll ever uncover some palm greasing that helped Oshkosh Defense win the contract.
The design is a total mess. It looks like a homemade prop for a low budget student film.
I can’t believe the outgoing vans have been in service as long as they have.
I miss the old sliding door mail jeeps with…
I think the key here when adding cameras to the driving experience is, at least for now, to keep some analog redundancy. My car has a digital rearview mirror. It is a neat piece of kit, but it has its limitations. It also has a key benefit.
If I have something that obstructs the rear window, the digital mirror and its…
Design is important. Design is subjective. I’m not judging you for liking this, as you have your own paradigms for beauty and style. However, your review feels more like a paid endorsement than a critical review.
Plausible.
To me this is a red flag to thieves.
The Club and similar devices, to my knowledge are relatively useless as a steering wheel can be cut with ease, quickness and without noise.
So, any such model that has one of these devices as a temporary solution may be even more of a target.
Right?
I understand The Club and similar devices have been relatively useless as steering wheels are made from aluminum which is each to snip bend and slip such a device off.
So much this. When we bought a car recently we encountered this. It took an enormous amount of effort to find a dealer who actually cared about selling us our next car. I guarantee my next new car is coming from the same place as my current.
A markup on a $100k car is of zero interest to me or most of the public. I couldn’t care less if dealers bought these for themselves and put them all on the auction block at Mecum.
At $100k this is already out of reach to most of the population. If someone has $100k to spend on a novelty car and they’re priced out by…
All of these things are true.
I’m not a believer in the slow cars fast philosophy. I get it, but I don’t find that to be true for me. I’d rather run a GT3 at 50% on track day vs. a Miata at 100%.
They were down on power when they were new. I had a buddy who purchased one for $150 when we were in college from a close family friend. $150 was of course a token amount of money, and it was worth much more then.
Given the low miles, provenance, and extensive service records, and impeccable condition, I don’t believe…
So very true. Entertainment is subjective.
It isn’t my place to judge your character, but its not yours to do the same to anyone else.
You and the language too. Do you feel that you sound more intelligent, or that it validates your point of view?
Also, go back and re-read what I wrote, rather than cherry picking the elements that don’t suit your self-righteous narrative. I’m not excusing Clarkson, and I think he should be held accountable to the same…
You don’t need a bath, you’re right in being skeptical.
You win the ivory towers comment of the day.
