I love and hate that we live in a world where $19.5k for an 18 year old car with 165k miles is in “take my money” territory.

However, take my money.

This is a pretty bland example. It likely won’t be a high dollar collectible, but should provide plenty of reliable miles for years to come.

I’m not directing this at you Lawrence, but I just don’t get the constant crapping on Mr. Beast and the criticism of his intent.

Just like this blog and the parent company, he runs a business. His business is one of views, impressions, and public interest. The fact he gives anything back to charity is great.

Imagine if we loved life, our neighbors and our kids as much as we love guns? Just imagine that. Whoa.

Thank you for a logical, sane, and well-composed response. The Internet would be a better place if more people were like you.

Sure. That’s the Occam’s Razor approach, but that’s also not reality.

Came here to say this. THIS IS now the poor man’s Supra. How funny how the tables have turned.

Or don’t mess with it. Enjoy it for what it was and how it looked. Your modern updates will look sillier and more dated than the OEM hardware in just a few years.

Back to my previous comment. I think this may be a case of form factor confusion. To my knowledge there are no V5s or V engines with an odd number of cylinders for obvious reasons. I’m happy to be wrong and I’m sure a quick Google search could prove me right or wrong.

I’ve had people tell me they have a V5 in their

I really like the Toyota Mister Twos.

Funny you should reference the Mustang. For most of its history build stats are available. A Marti report can define such rarity by build configuration. Whether or not rareness results in desirability is a different question.

I find the reverse to be more true when someone says they have a V4, or a V6, or even (CRINGE) a V5. I’m not sure what they think the V stands for.

In looking through these posts I think the original ask should be things “non-enthusiasts say”.

Wait, the Probe had a loud factory exhaust? What’s your definition of loud?

Don’t they share other components that are more or less the same? Isn’t the 10 speed transmission used by Ford and Chevy a common part? Am I wrong?

I’m super surprised that anyone actually said any of this. This seems fabricated.

Yes, you can’t detect a false positive. Good point.

Sure. But I don’t think the brand has fundamentally changed. I do think their products have improved, but they are still trailing Japan’s marques.

I get that Consumer Reports and JD Power give high marks to initial quality, but my experience both direct and anecdotally is that the difference between

10,000 deaths plus the magnitude of other lives impacted as a result. Maybe you meant to be insensitive, maybe you didn’t. However, your comments seem callous and cruel.

There are many people who don’t drink much, and are unaware they’re at or even slightly over the legal limit. The legal limit is low enough where some people may not feel particularly impaired. For those people this may keep someone out of trouble, or keep them from unknowingly and unintentionally driving drunk and

Maybe you don’t care about life or safety for you or those you love. Unfortunately, those few people who make bad decisions can forever change lives when someone is maimed or killed.

Society has progressed because we agree on laws and norms for the greater good.
