I know those are personal hypotheticals on the skill of other drivers. The reality is, even the most skilled drivers can face perils from situations for which they’re not ready to react to, or experienced enough to react to. Then of course is the speed at which a driver may be required to make a split-second decision

I just picked up a new car. I feel lucky just to be able to say that. My new vehicle is top spec for its model, and features the latest tech from its manufacturer, but it is only a Level 2, though it could be argued that it has enough that the SAE guidelines could make it a Level 3 on certain conditions. This is my

Betteridge’s law of headlines says no.

Sure, and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. I mean the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is more of a stretch in my mind than the Mustang Mach-E.

As a kid of the 1990s, the Eclipse GSX was a hot hatch that I loved to look at. I don’t even know when I’ve last seen one on the road. It would give me a nostalgic kick

These were the dream when I was a kid. Did these not go through any type of user testing?

Ha, I see why you chose that as the worst, and I see your rationale, I wouldn’t at all say it is the worst. Of course, for those of us who grew up with the first and second-gen CRX, this is the spiritual reincarnation of that form factor. The Del Sol, which was the replacement, was a very different animal.

The CRZ had

While I’m always happy to be wrong, I have no need to always be right, I do understand that Marketing does sign off on naming prior to the final decision being made. But yes, of course these were names that existed.

IMHO, this is smart marketing. Brand stacking is powerful. Ford Bronco Raptor.

I think it feels different than the Raptor trucks, because no one ever calls them Ford F-150 Raptors. They’re just Raptors. Plus, this is now Ford’s path.

I  have a Ford with a keypad. I’ve had previous Fords and Ford brand products with the keypad. I can count on one hand, with many fingers left, the amount of times I’ve ever used the keypad. Two to be exact. Not three times. Two.

So, the headline isn’t descriptive enough. I would say that the ten most expensive places to fill your gas tank would all be gas stations. Perhaps it is the word places that threw me off. Just some inane humor to lighten the day.

First off, yes, I would hope that in the light of the human factor of work that it is clear that these things do happen.

I absolutely feel for this guy. He doesn’t deserve the mental burden of what seems to be an honest mistake.

Also, this isn’t a career limiting move. In fact, if he’s smart, he can leverage this into

Perhaps. No statement or position of any kind is totally universal, or without exception.

I’m trying to separate Elon’s communication strategy from his business prowess.

What I can say is that identity politics has been an easy persona for one to glom onto. Polarizing as it is, we typically reward high profile people for their alignment with one of the two prevailing political parties. The stronger their

In fact I am a child. I will turn 5 this fall.

I’m totally impressed that you were able to figure that out.

You’re looking at this from the wrong angle. The market for this truck will be suburban dads who’d have otherwise bought a Subaru.

I don’t think that the Cybertruck will steal much market share from Ford or Chevy in the short-term. They will though bring new people into the segment, who may not have otherwise considered an EV truck. Rivian is in the same camp.

Yeah, no. This will be in every other suburban driveway.

The new Lexus EV shows some promise, but not everyone is ready to commit to an EV as their primary vehicle. For those of us who are adventurers, explorers, weekend warriors, boaters, race car towers, and more, EVs just don’t yet get us everywhere we need to go.

This is, of course, the answer.

I’m nothing but impressed.

I have a very strong self-preservation gene. The risk I take in life generally do not involve risk to life or limb.

This is a trained, experienced rider. However, even that training and experience can’t proactively solve the many perils of the road.

Kudos! Impressive ride. Stay safe!
