That’s an unfortunate situation.
That’s an unfortunate situation.
Are people already buying accessories for potential future vehicles? If so, I’m going to put an order in for seat covers for the next gen DMC cars, which will of course be electric, 3-row crossovers, with factory-installed hover kits.
I get it. There’s a human need to feel like you’re in control. It is tough to see the world change around you and have little control over how things evolve. It’s a very Downton Abbey sort of feeling.
It’s still a good take, but condition, usage, wear and tear and other factors are still part of the equation. I do happen to have an eagle eye for body work, and most people could also spot even a good job, if they know what to look for. If they can’t, pay an expert to give them an opinion.
What I really love is the late Victorian era of the Internet. I’m old, so I remember it well. Since you’re probably not aged as I am, I’ll paint a picture for you.
Clearly.
So glad to be here. I’ve heard so much about this place. It is a land of opinions, misinformation and cat memes. I can’t wait to experience it all.
Ha, this is some of Jalopnik’s best click/comment bait. This isn’t directed at you Steve, but rather my fellow readers. Shame on you if you’re not reveling in this wonderful era of used car values.

I remember seeing the company at SEMA a few years back. I thought what they were doing was neat. I hate to see any company fail when they’re trying to be different and challenge the status quo.
I hate to see automotive startups fail, but there are few exceptions to failure. Building cars is hard.
Many of the super wealthy with nice cars aren’t in the least bit genuine car people. It seems they’re more motivated in showing that they can buy things, others can only dream of, rather than buying things because they love them.
Its a tough market right now, even “celebrity athletes” need to compromise.
I understood your point, it was not missed. I was having some fun and I also thought throwing Craigslist under the bus was an unnecessary callout. Buying clapped out cars from private sellers is a rite of passage.
Dealership experiences do vary. Let’s all agree to that. Not all Kia and Hyundai dealers are bad. However, I’ve heard more of these types of stories about Kia and Hyundai dealerships than any other brand. In this market, even otherwise respectable dealerships are also acting out of character with silly games, and…
