Correction: K-Car (as in the Mopar chassis) and not Kei-car (as in the Japanese size and engine regulation)
Uh, what? This smells like bullshit to me.
My Chevy Bolt uses about 29Kwh to drive 100 miles.
I pay .25 per Kw to charge at home. That’s $7.25 for 100 miles.
My gas car gets about 22 mpg combined, for 100 miles that’s 4.5 gallons @ $4/gal = $18 in regular gas for 100 miles.
My bro in law works in the oil and gas industry. He’s worked for Valero, BP, and now Kinder Morgan. Your figures on refinery profit is incorrect.
Here for this. Didn’t think I would have to scroll so far though.
But yet the FIA gave Verstappen a super license with fewer points than Herta. Hmmmm
You are stuck thinking in the past when a 4 cylinder motor made no power and was saved for economy cars. Modern 4 cylinders with turbos exceed the power of yesteryears V8s. My old 4.6 Ford made like 210hp and 280 ftlb of torque.
So, starts out cheaper than Ford, better range and faster charging than Ford, and a handy-dandy midgate? Ultium is looking good.
Weirdly, Home Depot truck rentals already has you covered for $130/day...
Great, now make one in a midsized pickup with a few creature comforts but not lavish and I’ll buy one. I drive maybe 4500 miles a year at most and like to have a truck for when I need to run to Home Depot for house stuff. A small electric truck would be perfect for me.
It might come as a shock to you, but there are plenty of people who don’t have $2500 bucks laying around for stuff like this.
22 MPG for this is appalling.
I mean, if these are the three ‘mystery remakes/remasters’ that came to light from Take Two’s recent investor (or whatever) report…then just…fuck…be more boring, why don’t you?
Better renew the soundtrack rights. I have it laser-engraved in my memory that Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” is playing when you drive away from Ken Rosenberg’s practice and that’s no longer the case in the Steam version.
“Most vaccinated people are still immune to the virus, for now.”
Dear Jalops, if you want to “save the manual” go out and buy a new one. Pissing and moaning about it on the internet while you wait for someone else to buy one so you can “get one used” is exactly why manufacturers aren’t catering to the enthusiasts. If you truly believe in the manual, put your money where your mouth…
Luxury sedans are dead. I’m not even sure Mercedes cares about the S class anymore.
CJ Jeeps and most HMMWVs also had zero protection. The problem is once you start asking the vehicle to be armored, you end up with the 14,000lb Oshkosh L-ATV which doesn’t fit in a Chinook and can’t be transported at all by the Blackhawk, and it only carries 4.
So, yes. The goal of this is pure mobility at the cost of…
