I think the books are fabulous. The first one starts a bit slow but then it’s like a snowball downhill.

No.

This needs more stars. Soooo creepy!

I do animal rescue, usually I’m called to take care of orphaned kittens. I bottle feed them and all that jazz, and I also have a perennial mama cat named June Carter that keeps the babies comfortable and warm, grooms them, etc.

I was trying out a new medication for my chronic migraines (lisinopril) and developed night terrors and hypnogogic hallucinations from it. I was to take it at bedtime and within an hour, without fail, I would see giant, faceless, looming men in black robes repeatedly rush from the doors and corners of the room right

Aw, this made me sad. :(

You wouldn’t happen to be in the Guilty Feminist group on Facebook, would you?

Absolutely. And from what I found when my daughter was MLP-crazy, most of them are just regular guys who definitely have no sexual interest in the cartoon. But those that do are very vocal about it and a fairly nasty lot.

I agree, and I have zero problem with bronies! Love and let live. I don’t even care about cloppers because, well, it doesn’t impact me at all.

Furries are a totally separate fandom and/or fetish. They’re not focused on a cartoon like MLP exclusively, although there’s certainly overlap. And there are furries that just like to dress up, and there are furries that seek sexual gratification through it.

The sexualized aspect of it is what weirds me out, but I have been corrected before that gents who fetishize MLP are technically “cloppers”, rather than bronies. I don’t know if that distinction isn’t well recognized, though, because usually when I see references to bronies, it intimates the skeezy sexual underbelly.

I’ve always appreciated Pink’s body. Girl didn’t go for waifish slim - she’s fit af. Her muscles are amazing.

I still haven’t brought myself to watch the Parenthood finale. I love that show, made me ugly sob a good 75% of the time.

I read elsewhere that they’d stopped mentioning one another or sharing photos together on social media in February, so probably not. But who knows, couples can be off and on and perhaps Anton’s death was the final nail. Grief does things to a person.

Not Kat and Josh! Is true love dead?!

Perfect casting!

I don’t know if it’s because I’m on my period or if I’m already gutted from losing one Tennessee legend today (rest easy, Pat Summitt) but I’m crying legit rhinestone tears over here. I love Dolly. I’m from NE Tennessee and Dolly is a local legend, a beautiful soul who gives so much locally and never asks for credit.

Pat Summitt is one of my personal heroes. A badass bitch who got shit done, who won Olympic medals, earned championships, raised a family and showed the world that women can own the basketball court, too. I was lucky enough to meet her a few times on campus and she was always the epitome of a warm, lovely woman who

Let tell a quick story about jailhouse menstruation that I’ve never shared anywhere.

I know Lin. He is indeed a very sweet, thoughtful man.
