I do animal rescue, usually I’m called to take care of orphaned kittens. I bottle feed them and all that jazz, and I also have a perennial mama cat named June Carter that keeps the babies comfortable and warm, grooms them, etc.

I was trying out a new medication for my chronic migraines (lisinopril) and developed night terrors and hypnogogic hallucinations from it. I was to take it at bedtime and within an hour, without fail, I would see giant, faceless, looming men in black robes repeatedly rush from the doors and corners of the room right…

Absolutely. And from what I found when my daughter was MLP-crazy, most of them are just regular guys who definitely have no sexual interest in the cartoon. But those that do are very vocal about it and a fairly nasty lot.

Furries are a totally separate fandom and/or fetish. They’re not focused on a cartoon like MLP exclusively, although there’s certainly overlap. And there are furries that just like to dress up, and there are furries that seek sexual gratification through it.

The sexualized aspect of it is what weirds me out, but I have been corrected before that gents who fetishize MLP are technically “cloppers”, rather than bronies. I don’t know if that distinction isn’t well recognized, though, because usually when I see references to bronies, it intimates the skeezy sexual underbelly.

I’ve always appreciated Pink’s body. Girl didn’t go for waifish slim - she’s fit af. Her muscles are amazing.

I still haven’t brought myself to watch the Parenthood finale. I love that show, made me ugly sob a good 75% of the time.
