This is the first time I’ve felt disappointed in a winner

Everyone was boring this season. I didn’t even watch the clips show or the finale, just read about the winner online. I thought Pearl would win, but I really didn’t have any horses in the race. Blargh.

Since, at least, the 1970s people have been aware of the damage trash does to the ocean and yet the pace at which we are polluting our oceans has only increased. We need to start trying something to remedy the problem. Nothing will be a perfect, easy solution besides “don’t put the trash there in the first place”…

Completely agree. It doesn’t look to help with the existing microplastic, but I think if you’re able to catch a lot of lot of floating plastic before it becomes that, that’s a good thing.
