I don’t know if the problem is that they’re giving up, so much as that today’s safety standards translate into a lot of weight (or costly exotic materials); enclosed volume has implications for cross-sectional area; internal-combustion engines as well as drivelines have efficiency floors; making a big heavy vehicle

Yes, but...

As much as it pains me, I have to totally disagree.

This is a misunderstanding of what impacted the auto industry prior to and during the recession.

- Gas prices were increasing prior to the recession. When the recession hit prices cratered.

Hi Jason! A chilean guy here! The video it’s hilarious, but I feel I should warn you the twitter account you linked is a far-right, trump-stan alike. On the future, please try to avoid giving visibility to account names with ‘patriota’ on them.

Okay, so the compact truck model is 1356 lbs. Subtract 200 lbs for the bed you took off to make this fit, so you are adding 1156 lbs. The bulk of that mass will be no higher than a bed full of gravel of similar weight. The water, batteries, appliances, they are all low. About 80% of the weight of this thing is going

This is a very odd assortment of parts. A Brooks saddle is an expensive, niche choice that has to be broken in. There are dozens of saddles under $50 that would be a better beginner choice. Tubeless 29-inch tires are also not a common use case except on serious mountain bikes. And those mid-riser bars are more

Get the Wing. I’ve got a 2014 with all the toys except airbag. It’s dead reliable and handles better than a bike that size has any right to (I regularly scrape pegs riding solo with no worries). The wife and I have done 1,200 mile days and were still in good shape at the end. You want reverse when the bike is that
