If it were possible for me to just buy all the ones for looking at and not worry about having multiples, I’d probably succumb.

I need to raid the plushie aisle.

She does compare XIV to XI a LOT.

That’s cool. I left mentor chat on my server ages ago because every time a newbie asked a question, ten mentors would jump on answering it right away, and I felt very extraneous XD Didn’t want to clog up the chat channel further with replies that weren’t helping.

In all my time in XIV, I’ve only seen maybe one person deserve a harassment complaint for FC spam. Most folks wait a decent chunk of time between shouts in newbie areas and I imagine for a newbie it’s probably a friendlier invitation than the silent random invites they usually get.

...Capcom-version MC looks like a sex offender.

I like Inquisition. But unfortunately it REALLY needs the Trespasser DLC to feel complete, and honestly, I hate when a game requires DLC to feel complete.

This makes me sad. I have childhood memories of my older brothers talking about their battle.net accounts. (I uh... was not allowed to play Diablo.) It’s been “a thing” discussed mundanely around me for as long as I can remember. This feels like the end of an era...

I’m conflicted. I’m sure I’ll be glad for a great game come February, but I’ve been laid off and have more time to game right now. I really hope I’m not still unemployed by February :|

I can’t wait for it to come out over here! ;-;

Oh. So it’s more like just equipping skills/abilities? So it’s not the usual “card” BS. (I’m looking at you, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.)

Card decks? Oh lord no. Definitely going to pass on this one myself...

I vastly prefer playing RPGs on PS4. And I love Digimon... but sadly I probably wouldn’t buy this for any console, because “so complicated it requires spreadsheets” means I will rage quit it by 15 hours in.

I need to make my “Pointless Bullshit” folder, pronto!

Don’t get me wrong, I like a nice bishounen as much as the next gal, but that looks like the stuff of nightmares to me...

Portrayal of the main character and content were aimed at adults? I felt like they were aiming at children with it. Actually, the relative simplicity of Oliver and Esther was the game’s biggest weakness, in my view. Swaine was a vastly more interesting character, but once his arc was over, he was back to not mattering

The Yokai Watch event is grindy in the worst way. Screw that thing.

I main a tank and always lead people through all the little side areas and everything else when we have newbies, especially in the earliest dungeons before they know the ropes. Map completion bonus and all. But it’s true that after your hundredth run you just kind of want to git ‘er dun, so I don’t entirely fault

It’s embarrassing when they track it and tell you you ran away! But I also never think of it. I basically only run if I’m getting my ass handed to me and have to go back an area to grind... which, well, I used to get lost all the time in RPGs, so that wasn’t really a concern. I’d already spent so much time lost I was

I don’t think it’s nostalgia goggles making me think this, because I don’t feel the same way about the anime styles comparison, but I think the modern western cartoon look is hideous.
