Maybe the drag is to illustrate how easy it is to wear a dress and heels. But Daniel Craig (or James Bond, I guess) will never have to deal with all that other stuff.

Aw, poor little rockets. They do get fished out of the ocean, refitted, and used again though. I think it's sad that they do so much for the Shuttle but can only get so high before they have to come back to earth. They never get to have fun in orbit.

Also, this woman has apparently not watched any reality TV lately. LIYOBIF - Looking In Your Own Backyard is Fundamental.

Aw, he's just sad that he's not James Franco.

Suddenly I have a craving for hydrodynamics and must immediately proceed to the snack bar to get some.

Sigh. Pretty sure Down Syndrome is diagnosed either prior to birth or shortly after, so it wouldn't be news to Angelina. Also, she doesn't seem to be the sort who would be ashamed of something like that and keep it quiet or hide it.

@JennaW: Got your towel ready?

Atwood's insistence on placing works into genres and sub-genres, and assigning literary values to those categories really demonstrates her essentially old fashioned view of literature and its criticism. I do enjoy her novels, but I'm always disappointed that she's not more progressive in that regard.

@individa: "in some cases really seems to indicate that "size" and "fat" means something else about women taking up space."

@colormeroutine: Also weirdly difficult to do: six saltines in one minute.

Now playing

John Hillcoat (director of The Road and The Proposition) did the same thing with Red Dead Redemption.

I'm pretty sure that Nicholson photo is old. Unless he eats a lot of huge sandwiches on boats, which is a possibility I suppose.

@Sean Bon: I would like to think that whoever suggested the Gang of Four song was aware of the irony and is having a good laugh at the powers-that-be that went along with it. Or, who knows, maybe they're all in on it.

So the problem was really DikiLeaks?

It's also a good idea to remember what Archimedes said about volume and displacement. Don't fill that vat of oil right to the brim!
