Can’t use an aftermarket cat when yours gets stolen, can’t replace a cracked intake hose with an aftermarket one unless it’s CARB certified, can’t install a larger intercooler (though there is zero emissions impact from it).…

Ha did you ever drive one, out of curiosity? It was a pretty terrible ride. A friend had one and it was frustratingly (and sometimes dangerously) slow unless you had that weird brain quirk that made fuel economy your whole life. He was like that - I was not. 

Those things are gonna look so cool sitting on tow trucks and waiting in service lots for parts.
