I’m not “triggered”, just rolling my eyes at the outright hypocrisy demonstrated here. You are still trying to “flip” the situation, but it won’t work - you came out of the gate ignorant and swinging wildly and it did not pan out. Trying to reverse course and redirect is childish. The sheer hubris demonstrated by

nah there are lots of actual children running around screaming or getting yelled at to clean their rooms and stuff. They say some of the most racist stuff and you can hear adults in the room with them.

You obviously like making uninformed snap judgements about others, then try to take the high ground when called on it. You initiated the poking, not me. You cast aspersions, not me. That’s on you.

vanmoof is fun to say

There was a lot of promise to horizon worlds - the technology is neat, it runs crazy fast on limited hardware, and the level of expression on the fairly limited avatars is pretty cool. The creation tools are fantastic and easy to use. All the ingredients are there for it to be awesome, but it’s just... flavorless. And

And the u-turn when the hypocrisy is pointed out

There’s finite storage capacity, and sometimes the water falling from the sky exceeds storage capacity, and that water winds up in the ocean. It’s an accurate fact, but a pretty typical misunderstanding of why.

I get the grass, but why pools? If it’s already full of water, what’s the impact? That’s a legitimate question, it doesn’t seem like there would be much “churn”.

How odd, you started off being offended by my real world experience and now try to flip it.

They’re not even remotely interesting to drive though.

Bark bark bark. I have opinions about subjects that don’t affect me. Bark bark bark. Making assumptions about situations I haven’t experienced first hand. Bark bark bark. You sound like you tend to spout off your opinion and were not ready for any push back. Bark bark bark.

I always wanted to get a smart or an iQ and go full rice mode with spoilers stickers etc all over it :P

lol glad I’m not the only one that does that with these slideshows

There are simply too many concessions that need to be made for the prices they command. Too heavy, charge times, charger availability, no soul, no feel, no character. I don’t have a history of driving interesting cars, including alfas and fiats, because they were great “transportation appliances”. I did it because

Video games becoming movies and TV shows... Where’s Uwe Boll?

I am struggling to really grasp the intrinsic value of NFT’s. I see differing opinions on whether ownership of an NFT is analogous to ownership of the actual intellectual property rights. I don’t get it, if the underlying technology is totally unregulated, then how is any sense of ownership actually enforce-able?

I wasn’t sure because I see the same omission elsewhere, so I figured I’d ask. Another responded philipjphry below said it was an ohio/PA colloquialism which is at least plausible. I was just curious :)

That does make a little more sense - I didn’t create my original reply to pick on it, because I am aware that language is something that evolves and I’ve seen the same omissions before. I was legitimately curious, thanks for the reply :)

The title is driving me nuts - I’m not a writer but shouldn’t the title be “needs to be picked up” and not “needs picked up”?

that seems very image centric
