I used a jewelry ultrasonic cleaner from amazon for cleaning motorcycle carb parts, glasses, old knives, etc. So good for 20 bucks. Would love to have a big one for car parts :D

You know what’s crazy though? If you legitimately have an old catalytic converter (at least in CA) and take it to a scrap yard it feels like you’re applying to the CIA or something. I’ve done it twice after breaking down a car for parts. Figured I was dropping off a ton of scrap metal stuff anyways lets see what the

The slideshows are an obnoxious way of upping the clicks “interactions” and ads-shown on an article. It’s usually content that would be a pretty short list, but instead its 10+ pages of a single photo and 2 sentences meaning you have to click a bunch to get not much content. Some people do the lords work and dump the

Hey those novelty magnums of champagne won’t move themselves.

Yeah RE the hot air from the vents. Why on so many turbo cars do they have the cabin vents pull air from near the turbo? It’s absurd!

God I hate rev hang. Every manual car I’ve owned in the last several years has run a tune simply to get rid of the rev hang. Not even to add power or anything, just get rid of the rev hang. Dual mass flywheels are bad enough but that rev hang drives me bonkers.

Yeah what the heck Jalop, this should’ve been a slideshow

now available in exciting colors like “black” and “white” and “grey”, as well as “bluish grey” and “brownish grey” and “sparkly grey”.

Whatever color they have in stock is not the color I want but I am willing to take it if they don’t have (whatever color they don’t have). This actually saved me tons of money on a few cars. The last one, I didn’t really care about the color, but I bought a Fiat 500 Abarth that someone ordered in powder blue, then

I love love love 4th gen nissan maximas. Might be Vq lust, might be that I find them extremely comfortable to drive long distances, whatever - but I love them. Can’t help it. The absolute most normal car I love.

Just something with enough power, and enough handling, and 200-300 miles of range that is small, nimble, and handles well would be fine. An electric Miata or Fiesta ST equivalent with 250 miles of range would be great. Slow, all things considered, but fun. And doesn’t need to look like a potato transformer catfish

Man it sure seems like cops picking on ex marines all the time could go really really poorly for them if their frustration exceeds their sense of right and wrong.

I was able to return my lease after 60 days because my Giulia was in the shop most of the time with un-solveable brake and trans codes/lights. I tried really hard to wait it out because I had a similar issue with a Fiat 500 Abarth but in two months of my lease I was able to drive the Giulia for a total of 9 days

Broncito!

Nah my daily is almost always hauling just me, maybe the wife. The FiST is fine right now but the wear and tear on my elbows is killing me - and I’ve spent way too much on surgeries to risk it lol. Hasn’t been an issue for almost 2 years but I finally had to head back in to the office a few times and spending an hour

I’m pretty out of love with VW’s, I’ll only ever own another modern VW while it’s in warranty, and even then they’ve been kinda boring since... mk5 or so? I test drove a turbo mustang and it felt a bit porky, and where I plan to park it isn’t quite long enough. It would fit in that end of my garage, but I wouldn’t be

I come to the comments to see if someone dropped the list here so I don’t have to look at the slideshow - if not, I’m out.

I’ll have to see if I can go for another spin. I have other faster toys around, just looking for a daily that isn’t straight up boring. I did drive a veloster N and wasn’t really into it, need to go test drive the dual clutch version. It’s a bit too much, I don’t need something “fast”, just something reasonably

Yeah I just need a daily I can park outside and not worry about, and since I can’t realistically do my own work/maintenance anymore I figured a toyoburu would be pretty reliable and easy to maintain. My wife said “what about a camry?” and I died a little inside.

I’ve owned too many VW’s to want another vw ;)
