I think there are people chirping on both sides, you can’t silence just one side you have to do both. It’s both or nothing :shrug:
Then punish the people that do the harassing, severely and publicly.
How is he different from, say, Russel Peters telling racist jokes?
:shrug: doxing people is different. Calling someone names is one thing, inviting people to go assault someone is something else. One is freedom of speech, the other is incitement. We are free to speak. We are not free to incite.
The way Crowder says things, it’s generally obvious that it isn’t hate speech and is just for entertainment value. I dunno, I don’t *like* it, but I respect freedom of speech. People have the right to call me names, that doesn’t mean they’re right or that I have to listen to it. I have an equal right to call them…
If you don’t like what crowder says, can’t you just not watch him?
That dude sucks.
With government, a lot of times the auditing process can include testing backups and so on, so if you don’t have reliable backups for XX days you fail. That might be part of it?
The problem with the ransomware is most of it now is smart enough to not make itself known instantly, they compromise backups (even rotating backup sets, so they wait XX number of days to confirm they infected all the rotating storage sets), they can compromise virtual infrastructure hypervisors, etc. I recently had…
Just execute the next few people caught behind ransomware attacks very publicly and see if it helps things at all.
It’s on a calendar back at the ‘cave, every 6 months call TWC and be ready to cancel. It’s tougher at the current place because I can either get TWC gigabit or ATT 1.5mbit DSL, once they realize that I’ll probably get bent over.
It is less functional than an ergotron arm and 800 dollars more expensive.
There’s something magical about the simplicity of an old school gameboy. From the tinny mono sound to the creamed spinach display, I love them so so much.
The bit driver is startlingly useful. I wish they’d do a model that was more focused on the bit driver aspect, give up a few other tools for a built in holder for more of their slim-bits. Great for IT guys.
* also thumbdrives.
Used to run a knife sharpening service - knives with built in magnets can be a PITA when sharpening :P blade looks great, nice and sharp can split hairs and slice tissue paper and... MY GOD WHAT IS THAT a tiny little ‘fro inside the knife where all the shavings stuck to the magnet :P
Judge: “wait it has a CVT? Make that 20 million”
When I am working at a job that doesn’t pay enough, I take some classes to get a different job.
