The size of those mussels really freaked me out in that first picture, until I remembered about forced perspective.

Totally- there’s a dozen ways that could have been done better, and been a really sweet moment. It’s not Terrio that delivered that line so badly it turned into the new equivalent of the Darth Vader ‘nnnnnooooooooooooooooo.’
My alternate version of that would be Lois Lane pleading, ‘please, this is about Martha.…
I like the positive references to gluten in there too. Two bubbles burst for the price of one!
Finally someone else sees this! I can’t think that the line ‘You never Trust A Millionaire/quoting the Sermon On the Mount/I Used to think I was not like Them but I’m beginning to have my doubts’ was about anyone other than bono. Plus I’ve always thought a place Where no Cars Go would be somewhere Where the Streets…
Huh. Maybe.
I am pleasantly reassured by everything about this except for the face he pulls at 0:55. That is some impressive gurning.
What the fuck did I just watch?
Yeah, that clearly contributed. There are hints he wasn’t doing so well before that happened, though. I’m haunted by that line in TFA where Han talks about Luke being buried by grief. ‘Those who knew him best said he’d gone looking for the first Jedi temple.’
‘Those who knew him best.’ Wasn’t that Han, once? Luke was…
More than that, I would say. The one who DIDN’T really change, Han, was kind of a sad case when we met him in TFA, having reverted to the guy he was before he grew up and assumed some responsibility in the Original Trilogy.
Nice to see Cornballs getting his due.
It’s because BUNNIES HOP and this is a GOOD JOKE.
If this is the Silmarillion, Beren and Luthien, Children of Hurin and such then fine. If this is The Scouring Of The Shire then Fine, go ahead.
If this is fucking Bullroarer Took inventing the game of Golf, or Bombadil and Goldberry doing a Middle-Earth version of The Darling Buds Of May, then, umm, maybe.
If this is…
Oh, totally.
Guys, it’s staring us in the face. THAT KID WHO WANTS TO BE A CLOWN IS SNOKE, ABOUT TO BEGIN HIS TRAINING UNDER THE TRUE DARK LORD!
I genuinely felt so very very cross, like ‘what have they done’ cross. I was 21 and I was even angry with my friends for being in a good mood as they left the cinema. They didn’t enjoy it, but they were able to shrug it off.
I felt exactly how popular culture portrays everyone reacting to it, just disappointed and…
The alternative, slightly more dystopian explanation is that they are good at making people think of these things before the ads come up, ie their ad algorithm predicts what products people will think of based on the online stimuli they are being exposed to.
I honestly don’t know which of these two theories is the…
Courtney Love gets a LOT of stick that she absolutely does not deserve. Mainly it seems to come from her acting in the way that male rock stars are supposed to act, whilst being a woman. I can’t imagine how difficult being her would be.
Best thing on TV in the last 5 years or so. I fucking loved it and absolutely wanted those two crazy kids to be happy. Just an amazing story, beautifully brought to life.
Someone else shares my desire for this to be the Cannonball Run.
“I thought the alternative scene liked artists to wear their damage without shame and blurt out impolitic truths.”
