Good call. These are solid and fairly simple trucks that should handle the towing and light off road use this guy needs.

I want to say it was like 5500. The most I towed with mine was around 2500 lbs which pulled just fine until you started driving into the wind. 

For how cheap these are getting, the build can easily fit that budget. 2" lift, a few skid plates, lots and lots of Milwaukees Best.
