E39 was peak European sedan design, and maybe the pinnacle of sedan design globally, ever. It’s up there with the elegance and power of Elwood Engel designs, which are the greatest sedans of all time. 1960s Lincoln Continental being the peak, IMO.

Fuck, that’s terrible.

The trouble with fixing Monaco is not from a lack of ideas, it’s that, you don’t fucks with tradition.”

I saw that too. Like at least throw the bikes in the bed.

Meanwhile almost 50% of roads funding in TX comes from the Fed. ~25% from gas taxes and user fees. Then there’s other tax funds that fill in the rest along with registration fees.

What if they did? Maybe they knew who he was and intended to pull him over for 3-over because of it...

Elwood Engel was the genius of design behind these, and then took his game to Chrysler where he designed all of the Mopars that make Mopar-people crazy.

They get 2-years paid vacation for pistol whipping someone in a bar when they’re off duty and then get quietly rehired after that time period. Don’t Google it though, because part of the settlement included a gag order on the incident.

My ‘fast’ bike rang in at 15.88 pounds with the Bontrager alloys on it, it’s now wearing carbon hoops, so I assume it’s closer

I slum it from time to time.

Chief, I sold Toyotas when Scion was formed.

Oh, $kay. Hope you’re doing well.

I’m so tired of hearing about ‘power density’ without taking into account the weight of the motors and attachments to get there. So that’s a finger pointing at a lot of the writers in this category.

Kinda happened with Saab.

I worked in field research for a major alcohol manufacturer, we used to joke that the number of “drinks per week” people claimed in our work were halved or doubled depending on what they thought of you.

Dodge: Renames it the Dodge Durango RedEye and gives it 10 more HP.

I’d argue the Corolla XRS with the 2ZZ was more illustrative of this than the Matrix/Vibe. The fact that utility was pulled out of the car to have fun...
