As a Nuggets fan I have to say I sports hate JR very very much. I always pull for the West in the finals because that’s as close as I will ever get to a Nuggets championship. JR screwed me so many times when he was on my team, that I have developed the paranoid feeling that he is out to get me. I fear good JR is going

No, that is my point (poorly worded). He has the same stats as (short) Nate Robinson, but he’s 6’6”. He just doesn’t have the skills to be a megastar.

Nope. Best practices for suicide reporting recommend not using “committed,” which sounds like a crime or, to religious communities, like a sin, and “kill yourself” is just insensitive, crude, and poorly phrased. “Died by suicide” is the phrasing recommended by mental health professionals and the American Foundation

Calling him a “tall Nate Robinson” doesn’t really make your point. Nate Robinson has freakish basketball skills. That’s literally the sole reason he played in the NBA for a decade despite being smaller than me.

As I said (as is very nearly the point of the entire article we’re now arguing beneath), J.R. is not a mega-star, and I am not calling him one. I am saying that he has the skills of one, and the mind of a cartoon character, and I’m saying I enjoy that combination. As I went to great lengths to express in the article,

You’re definitely ranking him too high for basketball skills. He’s a streak shooter who shoots 37% from three. (I won’t even mention defense). His skills in a less-goofy dude would not make for a megastar.

He’s a tall Nate Robinson.

No way. Steve Kerr was an (amazing) catch and shoot specialist who offered almost no other tangible NBA skill. JR Smith is a multifaceted talent, maybe not a ‘mega-star’ talent but not that far off.

I’m sorry, but that’s utter nonsense. Steve Kerr never had J.R.’s handle, explosion, strength, vision, first step, finishing ability, length ... the only thing Steve Kerr had in common with J.R. was a pretty shooting stroke. You don’t have to like J.R. Smith, but don’t be silly.

Like Smith, he found himself in the hilarious position of vital importance to an all-time great’s heroic return from exile.

That’s a slight misreading but an understandable one. Let me explain.

So if I am reading this right, you’re ranking JR Smith (now on his fifth professional team, including a stint in freaking China) as a better NBA player than Ho Grant, Jeff Hornacek, Derek Fisher and Eric Snow. If I am wrong, I apologize. If not, BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. (gasp for air) BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA,

I'd argue that the train doesn't need to be moving to fire the nuke......

Diana - DNA swabs are used to identify a perpetrator of the sexual act. In this case, McAllister admitted to having sex with the women. There really wasn't a need to identify McAllister. But don't let that get in the way of a good story!

Good for him. He made a fun game, he didn't rip anyone off. He's earned his money.

This is absolutely disgusting.

And here I thought Browns fans were from Cleveland...

Oh come on, that's nonsense, you're exaggerating the race factor here... he might have survived if he were East Asian too.

I was thinking that the whole time. There's no way he'd have made it to the station to jerk off if he weren't a white kid.

Lucky for the kid he's white.
