I’m not even remotely joking!! It would be incredible. The last one I can remember was Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

“Marvel is considering an intermission”
It did, I believe. It dragged the body into the woods. When help finally arrived they found the cougar standing guard over the body and shot it. There was some early thinking that there was something wrong with the animal, either health or malnourishment, but those proved wrong after it was examined.
Actually no, entirely the opposite. Cougars instinctive reaction is to chase anything running away from them, which is how their normal prey reacts. That’s how the cougar would have seen the jogger, and had things gone just a little differently the cougar could have easily killed him.
Tragic! We did the same drive every year from New England down to spend time with the family in Florida. If we didn’t get to stop, we would have made life unlivable for our parents - and we made them stop in both directions! Once we even stayed at the more because it was our midpoint. It was shockingly not bad, though…
Agreed, these are classic Americana.
Sean Connery was only 12 year since older than Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Angela Lansbury was only 3 years older than Laurence Harvey in The Manchurian Candidate.
I actually said that in reference to something in front of a couple of Millenials a few months back. Wasn’t even thinking, been referencing that joke since before they were alive. I had some serious explaining to do, they were a bit disturbed.
He’s not dead, he was just deported to Sweden (where he claims he’s not from)
Keep Portland Weird.
They should save that for the blue-painted Amanda Donahoe scene from “Lair of the White Worm”
Fun fact: they took the name Amati from Nicolo Amati of the Italian violin making family who was Stradivarius’ teacher.
The only Fantastic Four origin story you need is Warren Ellis’ Planetary.
Rockettes & Drones... no interest.
Even worse. China is also looking to Brazil to replace the US as a supplier, and the nationalist they just elected has a history of favoring the destruction of Amazon rainforest for farmland. The US will lose jobs and the world will lose a critical ecosystem.
Actually looked at the current 3-series sportwagon when we replaced our 2010 A4 manual sedan. Ended up buying the X3 because it was still fun to drive and had way more usable space, plus at that point what the hell. Would have rotated the 2007 out first but there were no manual wagon options to be had anymore.
“Being that CarMax relies on trade-ins and outright sales from owners, it’s possible that drivers are just more reluctant to sell or trade in a manual-equipped car.”
Had the variant of the E.T. poster in my cart at Bottleneck within seconds and probably took no more than 30 seconds to finalize the sale only to be told it was already out of stock. Got the regular which is nice but really wanted the other one. They’re already selling on eBay for 2x and they haven’t even shipped yet.…
