So I'll assume you didn't celebrate after the fact on Ste. Catherine St.? (I was 25 and with a crew of engineering students from Rochester Institute of Technology's racing team). Sadly, that was actually my last F1 race... need to get back up there.

We were seated down at the first turn complex. We at least waited for the cars to clear but yeah, we stormed the track too. Somewhere I have a small model of Alesi riding on Schumacher's car after he ran out of gas on the back straight. What a day that was.
For pure beauty, my vote goes for the '94 412 T1, but the '95 T2 has a soft spot in my heart because I was at Montreal when Jean Alesi won his only Grand Prix in it, racing with Gilles Villeneuve's number, at the race track named after Villeneuve. Sort of a big day. And it was Alesi's birthday too.
"No Jacket Required" is a nearly flawless pop album (and I do not mean that in a derogatory way) from beginning to end. It was certainly popular, but still never earned the props it deserved. It's easily a top 10, if not top 5, album of the 80s.
Followed closely by the ending of Season 2, Episode 1 "The Prodigal Son" (a.k.a the New York episode) which very effectively used "Take Me Home".
We can get the dimmable 60W Crees for $4.97 at Home Depot in Massachusetts. I just saw they're selling them in a 4-pack now for $16.97. The 40W I believe is a $1 more expensive (strange, assume that's a volume thing), the 75W is now $9.97 and the 100W is still up at $19.97.

Good list but I think you need to go back a little bit further on a couple of them. The Corvette became a serious, take-notice sports car with the C5. The C6 and C7 have been strong evolution, but the C5 was the revolution.
This about two miles from my house and I passed by that morning at about 5:30AM wondering what all the news trucks were doing in our quiet little suburban town.
The '76 Japanese Grand Prix was probably the worst, at least from Niki Lauda's perspective. He had a 3-point lead for the championship going into this final race of the season in which he suffered his horrific injury. The weather was so bad he had to retire after a couple of laps, probably handing over what could have…
Just a beautiful aircraft. A year ago I finally made it to the Evergreen Air Museum. It was a quiet mid-week day and the place was empty. I was walking across the massive parking lot between the two main buildings and parked in a deserted far corner of the lot was a Starship just sitting there, barricades blown over.…
Maybe if they stretch it to a true 4-seat version they can call it the Asspada.
"I can see Uranus!"
When this debuted in the late 80s, it was incredible and it still looks good today. Credit Bruno Sacco's design philosophy.
Dear God, it's the Ferrari Modulo of pickup trucks.
"You're going to need a bigger barbeque."
Can someone explain to my why they are being exclusive about the region? There's plenty of big money in Europe, Asia and the US, I would think it would make sense to sell these to whoever wants and can afford one. Is it easier to certify a limited run car in the Middle East (crash testing, etc?)
As a kid in the late 70s I lived in Stowe, VT. My father, former racer, all-around car guy and prototype of a Jalop, traded in his Mk. I Scirocco on a more respectable 242GT. I remember that car well with its black corduroy upholstery trimmed in red leatherette. It was the first car I ever broke 100mph in. I loved…
