Even at almost 50, you can go out and steal a car tonight. Life isn’t all about videogames. Live a little!

Amazon’s stock price shot up after news of the planned increase, because of course it did.

They should have the drivers run a 10K marathon around the circuit on Friday.  No chance of vehicle damage, and we could see who’s really in shape and who’s faking it.

I really hate this fat suit argument. Being heavy is not an immutable characteristic. Punishing a thin actor by not letting them play somebody who either genetically or otherwise happens to be heavy is ridiculous and has nothing to do with acting. I guess we should force Zellweger to treat her body like Christian Bale

Jeff should have thought about that before making his big boaty boat.

I’m no huge fan of late-stage capitalism, but yeah, this things owns.

Seriously, I’m all for hating on billionaries, but as billionaire yachts go, this is pretty cool.

That’s really cool and I just wish we had interior pictures to see how much it still looks like an old commercial ship inside.

Even though I could never afford it (obviously) I think this is ridiculously awesome. I feel like Jalopnik currently has the biggest disconnect in terms of how writers see their takes being received, and what their actual reading audience is. Most of us like to see cool stuff, especially if it was repurposed like this.

Right. People around here would think nothing of re-fitting an old UHaul to cart their LeMons racer around. This is just how you scale that up for your annual trip to Sydney-Hobart.

This is the type of topic we need Fancy Kristen for.

I mean, not really?

It would be helpful to list the prices for outgoing Game Pass games. Purchasing these games are still an option and usually there is a discount for subscribers.

The mayor has gone full-bore “why I’m shocked, shocked I tell you”. The fired police chief went balls-out “how dare you question my hero integrity”. The prosecutor, the smartest of them, has kept their fucking mouth shut.

This story broke due to the efforts of AL dot com reporter John Archibald. He not only dove deep into this piece, but has done outstanding follow-up reporting. Maybe link to his original work instead of the aggregated piece in The Guardian?

He didn’t want to make money off the players who played the game. He never said he wouldn’t sell it.

Listen, it’s possible that somebody’s opinion on something changes once they’re offered $1m+ to change it.

Nothing on the prosecutor or the judge or the mayor - the co-conspirators, so to speak?

Grabbing my popcorn for this one.
