If you’re up near Sandy Springs, Lotus Chinese is my go-to for Americanized Chinese takeout. When I lived downtown though, Burger Win in EAV was one of my favorites.

Well shit. I didn’t even know they existed until 5 minutes ago, and now I’ll never be able to eat one because this is the only thing I’d be able to think about.
W. Earl Brown was already on Justified in the first season. A lot of Deadwood actors actually showed up just for an episode. I just rewatched it like a year ago and I remember Ray McKinnon also popping up in another episode.
oooohhhhh, ok. I was confused when I saw this on Twitter, but “script by Vernon Chatman” explains a lot. If one of the people who made Wonder Showzen is involved then I’ll probably have to check it out. Though I’m a little surprised that WS isn’t even mentioned, or any of the other shows the AV Club has interviewed…
IIRC they’re only relaxing the requirement for businesses. So like if you’re buying Quests to design stuff or set up a VR arcade then you don’t need an FB account for each one, but regular users will still need to have one.
After just finishing it last night I do think it’s a good, above-average game, but not a great one. It does do a few unique things, but most of it is just standard open-world stuff. The biggest hinderance though is just the post-apocalyptic zombie setting. After playing a ton of other zombie games I’ve heard every…
I think my favorite line of the movie was “Did you bring your suit or are you going into battle looking like a youth pastor?”
Lord & Miller doing comedy Rashomon? I’m in.
Was it an accident or intentional that you worked at least 2 Oxford commas into the review?
Yeah, I saw him in Atlanta and it was the same thing. Phones in bags and basically all the material was about his intervention and rehab. I guess it doesn’t count as a tour though because I think he only went to 4 or 5 cities and did like 20 shows in each place. I think here it was originally just 5 shows over 3 days,…
Considering Escapade was played by Kaitlyn Dever who actually did go on to be a famous actress, this would be kinda awesome
Dammit, the only thing I really want to hear about is Dorohedoro season 2
I’m 42 and my birthday is in a couple weeks on the 26th. In college I had to look up the headline from the day I was born. I was all curious to see if it was something cool or noteworthy, but I was not expecting “HUNDREDS OF BODIES FOUND AT JONESTOWN”.
I never read the book either but I still really enjoyed it. However I have seen both the Lynch version, and the old Scifi miniseries and sequel. Honestly though I think the fact that I saw it in IMAX also helped a lot. The scale of everything in this movie is so huge that it’s perfect for the giant screen.
For McDonalds I like doing the Carolina BBQ: get one packet of regular BBQ and one of the spicy mustard and dip in both. When I make nuggets at home though I usually make my own out of Sweet Baby Ray’s, ranch, and a little sriracha.
The first time I saw her it was when she was dancing like a maniac and shooting laser beams from her fingers in a Spike Jonze-directed ad.
Yeah, I was definitely getting Shane Black vibes. It works since the Matt Fraction run it’s based on had a similar feel
You left out my favorite part of the dinner scene: the Goodie Mob playing a gang called the “Not So Goodie Mob”
I don’t know why, but even after not seeing it in years I will always remember the Herkimer Battle Jitney. There’s something about that specific collection of words that has taken up permanent residence in my brain.
You should definitely read his full article on the Eggmaster then. I paid for a subscription to his blog because it made me laugh so much.
