Oh, is that what’s you appreciate about it?

I watched maybe four episodes of this and didn’t like it. That’s not important, other people do like it and I happy to let others like stuff I don’t. My question is though, what’s the appeal aside from the general idea. Is there a big fan base? Does it improve after the part I’ve watched? Look, I’ve enjoyed

Since water, in the form of ice, is literally found everywhere in space (comets, ice clouds, moons etc) can we change the conceit of this show?

There’s no way he’s unaware. Agnes is the key to Dr Strange.

If I may, the first episode is more a “Dick Van Dyke Show” homage than “I love Lucy” with the second episode being “Bewitched” of course.

I think a well known actor would have been taken more seriously. I understand and applaud representation but cyborg is a strange fit for justice league (as it messes with other canon, and I know they did this retrofit in the comic but still). Jon Stewart Green Lantern would have been a better fit, for story and power

Per the script reading, that could just be Whedon saying “I want to put you in a certain headspace about my changes before you read them on your own” that doesn’t seem outlandish for a creative type. This isn’t excusing what may be the truth about Whedons abusive behavior, just my take on one very specific thing.

Not to mention there’s DEFINITELY surveillance footage of that guy punching secret service agents at the fucking White House.

Ok. This is the best explanation I’ve seen for a plot point that was driving me nuts. Not sure I fully agree, but I like the cut of your jib.

It was meh, for me. I liked the first one a lot (minus the messy CGI ending. The “I could never be a part of that” line is the Wonder Woman I wanted to see). WW84 has some fun scenes, and I’ll let go the insanity of “Steve flew in WWI so he could easily fly a modern jet”. I love that WW saves the day by appealing to

It didn’t tie into the story they were telling. Luke assuredly had many adventures that he didn’t talk about in the sequels.

There’s only so many Jedi trying to restart the Jedi Academy at this point. Looking back it had to be Luke. Like it or not, Luke Skywalker through his connection to the force is one of the most important beings in the galaxy.

Yeah, if Cara doesn’t recognize Luke that’s as insane as two high ranking SHIELD agents not recognizing the Red Skull on Vormir.

Funnily enough I commented while watching that Luke was the worst cgi I had seen on the show to date, while my wife, mother, and son all thought it looked good so maybe it’s down to expectations? Otherwise we were all on our feet after the lightsaber hilt confirmed the “it can’t be, is that Fucking Luke Skywalker,

Bozeman is irreplaceable in the same way Sean Connery was, in the same way Christopher Reeves was, and in my opinion Chris Evan is. They absolutley should recast Boseman though, because the character deserves more stories. Letitia Wright, hey she was cute in the role, sassy and fun, she certainly ain’t irreplaceable.

Not sure of your meaning, that’s Leonard Cohen’s performance. He wrote the song. That is what his original intention was. It is of course wildly misused here.

Honestly, Pacinos devil is really meh to me. He’s just doing Pacino. I like the writing of the character but for maybe the only time ever, Pacino didn’t do it for me.

Quite simply, if Shawshank, Tombstone, or Constantine is on TV, I ain’t moving. Best onscreen devil (sorry Viggo Mortensen it’s close) ever.

To be fair, I want a moonbase. I just don’t want it under the trump administration.

My 13 year old son loved the original, I had to feign enjoyment for it. Folks kept calling it the “Big” of superhero films. I get it was more the “like Father Like Son” of superhero body swapping films. It was meh, ok I guess.
