The CW as a whole has tired me out because literally every series (arrow verse, supernatural, etc) would have one episode long seasons if the characters would just stop keeping secrets from each other.

I supposed I can buy the MCU Zemo as an anti-hero or something not quite reaching anti-hero status. I don’t think I’ll buy Sharon Carter as a villain. “What is the us military doing in a foreign land” My only answer to that would be to gesture vaguely at the world. I don’t fully understand how you think militaries work. To be fair to the show it’s definitely an allied country as Sam is told not to cross into the Libyan border. 

I fail to see how “ white person loses farm so racism isn’t real” is a valid argument. Race perception is going to be some of the focus of the show, we’re not reaching here. 

MCU certainly has differences of course, but Sam is a soldier. He’s using his training on a rescue mission, and he’s running out of time. It isn’t like he slit the throat of a pursesnatcher. He was in a military style rescue mission being shot at by mercenaries. It would be much more unrealistic for him to make sure…
