Not that it matters but, I believe you will be in the minority with this opinion.

Boomerangs song had super speed in at least one incarnation
I am on board. Looks cerebral and brutal. I am in.
I agree, I actually though Batflecks suit made him look less “human who has trained his body to the ultimate level” and more “circus strongman who’s also a little pudgy” and again I’m referring to the suit not Mr Affleck himself.
And Montoya saying “you have the same power as your mother” in the movie. And the breaking of the glass during her first song.
It would have been an ok movie without the original to compare it to. Just ok. Packed with talent it should have been better.
A lot of that is what I thought Suicide Squad should have been. Smaller. Make the Macguffin something they can’t use supers for, like the spear of destiny. In DC lore it can remove superpowers and makes sense for Amanda Waller to want something like that, give it a more Indiana Jones vibe.
I thought it was... fine. Smollett is a standout, Robbie is always a treat, but in the same way that I think Suicide Squad was trying to be GotG, I think this was trying to be Deadpool. Most of the profanity (and I am not a fucking prude) felt forced to make it edgy, like they needed to justify the rating. It drives…
I would posit that while it is sure to be a pessimistic journey through the murderverse, it will be a better film than the theatrical release.
Seconded
Completely off topic and not a commentary on Whedon or Fischer or anyone else. Cyborg was out of place in this film, it should have been GL John Stewart. Cyborg, and I know it’s been retconned, is not JLA. Also, why weren’t they father boxes?!
The island wasn’t purgatory. Wtf, how do people still get this wrong, when Jacks father gives an exposition dump in the church scene that literally explains the entire show. The island was real, it so affected the lives of those on it that they created an afterlife reality/purgatory. In that flash sideways reality…
Omg this. Between Supernatural and the arrow verse and according to my daughter Riverdale, it’s so fucking annoying.
I’ve never made it through MoS without falling asleep. Batman V Superman theatrical release is awful, and I don’t even care about the “why did you say that name?!” Scene. It really doesn’t bother me, it’s that Snyder thinks that everyone is a murderer at heart part that gets me. Having said that BVS Directors cut was…
Honest to god I was confused as hell with the cast list. I really thought (until I zoomed the poster in) that that was Capaldi in Gallifreyan fashion not Tennant.
Ding ding ding We have a winner! Having to constantly remind people that Endgame doesn’t have time travel quite as much as It is dimensional time travel is getting exhausting.
Weeeellll, Beta Ray Bill and Thor did fight before he got Stormbreaker. Beta could be a misunderstood villain, fighting to protect his people and they all hug at the end.
I watched the first episode of Wynonna Earp and found it to be unwatchable. Does the show get better? Does the acting get better? Is there a good reason it’s still on?
Yeah, Green Lantern in CW would have to reuse the same SFX shots over and over to stay on budget. It would be crap.
I’m not sure sequel applies. Except for Harry Quinn I think this movie is a soft reboot of the franchise. I wouldn’t be surprised if this film doesn’t take some potshots at the first one, especially since the first one was going for a “James Gunn Guardians” feel but didn’t understand the things that madE “GotG” so…
