Kind of the opposite. Having it as a toggle would make it more fun for a wider amount of people.

So... what’s the issue? Why is making it a toggle, which allows the player extra choice in how they play, which is what the Pokémon series has emphasized virtually ITS ENTIRE EXISTENCE, a bad thing? Why is constantly holding the players’ hand throughout the entire adventure a great thing that should be celebrated?
It seems like that’s the plan going forward, given the Sunbreak expansion is a simultaneous launch and they’ve put out an official statement that they’re going to focus hugely on PC development for future projects.
We live in a crazy world, where if you put in the time and work online, and get lucky, you can become a millionaire in months. That said, the “luck” factor is still pretty huge. I have friends that have been grinding on Twitch for years and still can’t make a living off it because they haven’t managed to “go viral.”…
Meanwhile I’m just sitting here mildly bemused by the fact that Hasan’s monthly Twitch earnings are essentially twenty years of income for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This feels like the most cynical take possible on the farthest gamefreak has strayed outside their comfort zone
it’s scummy to make two different games and release them 3 months apart?
Like Mike said, this is perfectly fine and I’ll never understand how “open world” became synonymous with “good.” The world design should be whatever works best with the gameplay, and Pokemonster Hunter sounds great.
This is a bad take. Having Donald and Goofy show up in his Ultimate move wouldn’t change anything about him as a character, and the amount of cool KH stuff they poured into his moveset/stage/etc. is impressive.
To be honest, Disney was always just a rocket booster meant to help Kingdom Hearts achieve escape velocity.…
No. It would have been the same lawyers. Disney’s and Nintendo’s. Sony doesn’t own the character, contrary to what some people think. Sony merely owns a movie license, and they cut a deal for a game series. Spider-Man still shows up in non-Sony games.
Using a beautiful render of his original KH appearance with Mickey flourish on his keyblade, and presumably with his original voice intact, Sora has 8 relevant costume designs from the series (one of which is technically a Disney/Mickey/Steamboat Willie reference), a 2-part stage based on iconic game locations - the…
Getting Disney in there as well would have probably involved ALL THE LAWYERS. Not even a company the size of Nintendo wanted to try that undertaking.
“This thing I knew wasn’t possible didn’t happen and now I’m mad.”
Smash Bros. fans really have mastered the art of finding ways to complain even when they receive something spectacular. It’s honestly impressive.
Well what the fuck.
Sorry, I didn’t think my comment would cause any Strife.
Take your damn star, you son of a bitch.
As someone who plays the switch like a handheld for on the go play I hate the trend of cloud games. I also just don’t want companies to give up on porting games because cloud is easier.
And a remaster of a remake of a GBA game, and a DS game remade as a movie.
A remaster of a 3DS game is available on cloud only. Okay Squeenix, you’re drunk, go home.
