It's always amazing to see people take a game, turn it inside out and bend it to their whims. Mario is no different, particularly when it's beaten with the lowest score possible.

It wasn't too bad for fighting game fans, though. The animation was good, the controls were responsive, the combat was somewhat unique at the time (the throwing system was definitely different and hasn't really been replicated since), and even the wacky dungeon crawler mode had a bit of charm. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The side tasks were meh, but the abilities were tons of fun and gave me a great sense of power and freedom, especially if you wanted to get creative. I also loved that it was one of the few games for the 360 that had 7.1 audio, which actually worked very, very well.
