I honestly don’t believe that 80% of people should be allowed to use their phone in a car, and also believe that about 50% shouldn't be allowed to drive and talk at all. I’ve rode with plenty of people who just forget they are driving while…

90% of the time when I am on my motorcycle, the idiot who pulls out in front of me or changes lanes into my is texting. Even if they don’t come into my lane, they wander back and forth enough to make it difficult to judge what they are doing, creating a dangerous situation.

People have proven time and again that they can’t multitask like that. You, me, and pretty much everyone will wind up behind some asshole who misses the light, the car moving in front, or some other important queue that it’s time to move.
