If you play professional hockey and aren’t prepared for a hard hit a split second after you move the puck in the neutral zone, that’s on you. Watch it in real time.

That was a quick moving play and borderline hit at worst. It’s solid shoulder to shoulder and if you’re going to move the puck in the neutral zone you need to be ready for that hit. General rule of thumb when you’re learning to hit is pull up if its going to be from behind or in that weird 4-6' from the boards, but…
Not sure if you mean by talent level, but Wilson plays the first line. Also this hit is an interference call at worst and the Reaves crosscheck is just as bad, but with the added effect of directly contributing to his goal.
During sunday’s game they had a 20 minute conversation about how Remy doesn’t know how to properly score a game, white out, and different colored pens. I was watching the game with 5 other guys and we were all too tired to find the remote but we eventually had to use the volume buttons on the TV to make it stop.
I haven’t seen it, but having spoken with former NHL enforcers/goons and listened/read what their policies were, most of the time there is no shame in turning down a fight for anything short of a dirty hit. That’s a tangible mistake that I bet Coburn would like to have back.
Ovechkin would already be at the top of this list if he played in the 80's and 90's and I’d expect him to be no lower than 4th in 4 more seasons and should probably have another season and a half worth of games if Bettman was competent (granted many of those names should have more games too due to the 94 lockout). #1…
Not to mention, Coburn agreed to the fight where most enforcers (probably including Wilson) would’ve understood that a defenseman (1 of 6) shouldn’t be unavailable for over 7 straight minutes in a Game 7 where Stralman and Hedman are already going to be playing outrageous minutes.
I’m fucking fuming about my senators in NH. Like how the fuck do they justify voting the way they have over the last year (especially Hassan who isn’t up for reelection) in a state where Bernie won the primary by double digits and Hillary still won the general. I get that NH is a moderate state on the whole, but…
Then I suppose it is up to a progressive PAC to run ads highlighting the fact. I feel like any gag orders that aren’t related to IP (or other justifiable NDA) should just be outlawed.
The victims should go on every talk show they can talking about the settlement and how they are not allowed to advocate for these bills as a big FU to MSU.
That would probably make you in the minority of people with a kitchen. I’ve always just had a thing of Morton’s above the stove and it doesn’t take a ton. Also works on grease fires on a grill too without ruining any of the food that is elsewhere on the grill.
Small kitchen (assuming grease) fires are easily put out with salt. Usually much easier to find for people unfamiliar or panicked and no one is going to risk their lives trying to put out a larger fire with a small extinguisher.
I was so angry at what Chiarelli and now Neely (because we all know Sweeney doesn’t have final say) did to the Bruins D core. It’s conceivable that the Bruins could have pairings that look like McAvoy-Boychuk, Carlo-Chara, and Miller-Miller, but they sunk too much money into Krug (who is good but Colin Miller has a…
I’ve said it before about not going with Mrazek, but the same could be true with Lyon. Playoff games and wins would be bad for the organizations future if Mrazek were to get them since it could change their draft pick sent to Detroit from a 3rd to a second. Similarly Lyon could have some clause in his contract that…
Poisoning a jury pool... even though it usually won’t make it that far with either dropped cases or plea deals.
In court yes, you should be presumed innocent, but in the court of public oppinion any presumed innocence only acts as a deterrent for other actual victims speaking out.
You’re anecdotal evidence does not justify any form of victim blaming or skepticism. If I knew the details of your uncles case then i would be more informed, but I don’t so until it was overturned I would assume he’s guilty.
I’m not saying that Tampa isn’t really good or even that any of those players aren’t all good to great. I’m saying that they didn’t look as dominant as I would expect them to with Boston playing so poorly. I would certainly put my bet on Tampa in the next round but I see it going at least 6 games and wouldn’t be…
Tampa didn’t look that good against Boston, the bruins were just the worst combination of old/slow guys (Chara, Mcquaid, Backes, Gionta), hurt skilled guys (Carlo, Krug, and probably a handful of others playing through injury), and inexperienced young talent (McAvoy, Grzelcyk, Donato, Debrusk, Acciari).
As stated in the article, he was not required to register at college as that is not legally a permanent address. That this came out at all was the result of a misinterpretation on behalf of the state.
