I’m all for a rule like that if also applied to any politicians that have served in government position, and testified before Congress within the last 10 years.

“Kamala Harris has once again shown a room of old white men how to do their damn jobs”
So you belive the shooter’s actions to be just then?
This has nothing to do with guns, and everything to do with a very troubled individual committing a crime.
All they need to do now is dress Bumblebee in a black leather jacket and have him jump a pool filled with sharks.
“That there aren’t enough guns, and if more people were armed and ready to shoot, then this couldn’t have possibly happened.”
Never pass up and opportunity to blame something like this on gun ownership, right? Given the number of US citizens that legally own firearms, and the delusional progressive narrative that simply owning a gun makes one a mass murderer, you’d think that the US would have completely depopulated itself by now.
You must be referring to the policies that FDR instituted, the same polices that extended the depression to the point that it took the industrial build up of WWII to pull the country out of it.
“I have a Phd in economy and believ me or not, by now it is clear that a social market economy is pretty close to being the best economic system around.”
The US middle class has it’s roots in the beginings of the industrial revolution going back as far as the 1820's. It wasn’t really solidified until after WWII and the creation of the GI Bill, but it’s existense is not due to socialist policies.
No, it started promoting it. The US education is overrun with teachers and administrators more interested in telling children what to think instead of helping them develop the skills necessary to think for themselves. However, the same teachers that promote socialism in schools don’t actually teach the history of…
“The US is a world power because people fear it (or think they can take advantage of it), not because they admire it.”
“But my original point was that the basic idea of socialism CAN work, at least on some scale. The problem is that you have to rely on humans to make it do so”
“Waiting for your turn to speak, as in, not engaging in an honest discussion because you don’t actually want to have a meeting of the minds. It’s cool, we all have our talking points but your decision to bludgeon everyone to death with your opinion without any thought to what was said is indeed patronizing.”
“The desire is for Democratic Socialism like much of Europe, but you fail to address that... I wonder why? The rest of the world is stunned we would let people die because universal healthcare is considered Communism so best to let them die in the streets.”
“Duder”
“aggressively attacking”
“but to say that the system of capitalism does not result in casualties, often mass casualties, is just inaccurate.”
“Venezuela is a tragic example of how to mismanage a government, true. But why aren’t you mentioning any failed states that got that way under capitalism?”
Care to elaborate?
