Yeah of course it helps playing with those two, but the Flyers have Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, etc. They could have been developing Schenn as a center for the past 3 or 4 years, who knows how good he’d be now.

No. I’m making the point that the Flyers are markedly worse than they were last year, and that Schenn is now playing a lot better than he ever did in Philly given that he finally got an appropriate chance to succeed. I actually don’t even think they’re an awful team, they have a ton of talent. Their goaltending has been bad and coaching has been worse.
