I don’t want to get into a macro-level discussion about the state of soccer in the US. We should be so much better than Honduras that our 3rd stringers demolish them. Our population is 33 times larger than that of Honduras, and they are one of the poorest countries in the world. It defies all logic that they do not

How...how are they this bad?

I love that question. Should be a full article. My answer would be a GTI. Or an Accord with some upgrades.

He wasn’t trying to rob or hurt anyone. His “b&e” was getting drunk in an unfamiliar place and stumbling into the wrong apartment. That happens, quite literally, all the time.

Is that seriously your take on this?

How does one end up being a lawyer on the USVI coming from the mainland?

I don’t know much about the history of boxing, only the past decade or so. Looked at three lists online, they all had him in the top 10. So went with that. Probably a bit of an overstatement.

And Clayton Kershaw is the highest paid MLB player. Good to see some white kids from Highland Park finally catching a break.

Did he go...not 10 rounds?

Kimbo Slice is an embarrassingly bad comparison. He was a relatively unknown commodity to the majority of the country (let alone world) and literal street fighter. McGregor is one of the most famous and recognizable fighters in the world and just went 10 rounds with arguably the greatest boxer of all time.

I’ve been watching aerial videos of the flooding, and there’s so many empty parking garages. I’m wondering why more people didn’t go park up there a day before—it sounds like this guy had a friend who did, but it seems like a relatively easy precaution.

Let’s remember some guys. AJ Feeley? Cleo Lemon? Bruce Gradkowski? John Navarre?

Scottie Upshall. He was a ball of energy and seemed like he checked people 100 times a shift when he was on the Flyers.

Gentrification is not creeping in Pittsburgh, it is full-on full steam ahead. It’s actually closer to being complete than it is to starting. But it’s actually a pretty great place to live for (well-educated and already have a job) 20-somethings.

You said what now?

Wrestling is not fake. WWE is fake, and that is not wrestling.

I think I agree with this almost 100%, but what about wrestling? That definitely seems like a sport, but the scoring is not fully inherent, still subjective in a way.

I guess I don’t mean “kids” like 8 year old kids. I mean teenagers that are interested in fitness, who certainly do follow him—just look at his YouTube and Instagram accounts. He had a huge following, and unfortunately a chunk of that will be younger kids. Even if 1% of those kids end up pursuing Piana’s lifestyle,

Seconded. I hope kids do not look up to him.
