An analog stick allows for precision control of movement speed and direction, something WASD does not. Why do you need a directional pad for weapon switching, when you could map it to the upper keys like usual or just use the scroll wheel?

I’m not really sure what makes you say that. This has plenty of keys, and a proper analog stick for movement control, which are exactly what I’ve looking for in a gaming keypad. Of all the currently-available gaming keypads for PC, only *one* of them has an actual analog stick, and by most accounts it’s a tiny

So far I can’t say I’ve encountered any FPS which couldn’t properly handle an analog stick, at least. Some other genres like JRPGs typically don’t care about analog movement by convention.

Yeah, I still can’t bring myself to pay that kind of price for it. Unfortunately, neither of those alternatives are good enough either; by most accounts the G13's stick sucks for movement control and none of Razer’s keypads have analog sticks.

Unfortunately I’ve read too many views that claim the stick is too small and in too poor a position to comfortably use as an analog movement control. I nearly bought one.

cool.

Okay, so the important question is, does it work on PC and can you use a different mouse with it? I’ve been wanting a decent keypad with a proper analog stick to pair with my existing mouse for a while.

As a developer who’s on the store... yeah this is not the case. Microsoft takes a cut of raw sales and IAP, but lays no claim on anything you do network-wise for store apps. Might be a different story if you want to use XBL servers, but that’s not the case here either.

Microsoft has no control over what Acti does, and Microsoft somehow influencing their decision to not allow crossplay makes no sense, as it can only hurt their sales. Removing crossplay removes any incentive to buy it on the Store, and I’m certain that Microsoft is aware of that. I can picture quite vividly the people

thanks for the info. it’s interesting that rejections happen with such frequency.
Meanwhile, I’d like to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and think he had the right idea, and just argued it poorly... but eh. Guess he coulda just been barking up the wrong tree.

You’re kinda right, but I think you muddled up your argument a bit by referencing stuff like variable names, and people are latching onto that stuff in their arguments against you (because that’s what programmers do).

as a sub-only people, I’m not particularly delighted. I know I hate it when a localization completely removes Japanese dubs and replaces it with English dubs (to the point where I’ve dropped or refused to buy such games), so it must be just as bad for those who prefer English dubs but the localization doesn’t give

Ehh. Growing up with sonic, I always had sort of a love-hate relationship with the Archie rendition. On one hand, it was interesting in its own right, but... it didn’t really feel like the same ‘Sonic’. Like it felt like a goofy alt-universe setup or something; it felt like a different world, a different aesthetic, a

update because I just happened to stumble across this thread again in search results for something completely unrelated: 4.5 years later and this desktop is still rocking same as it was in ‘12, and still benching higher than most everything out there =x

The annoying thing is, ideally there shouldn’t be any hit *at all*, since it’s still using the same total number of pixels and running at the same framerate. It’s just rendering two cameras instead of one, at half the resolution each. Yet somehow the 3DS still took a perf hit in 3D mode in some games? Doesn’t make

GoGo updating their proxy servers to filter traffic on 3128 in 3... 2.....

I really wish they’d have made the Switch screen 3D, since I love the glasses-less 3D concept quite a bit. I’m fine with it not being 3D though, if it means it can make the image quality in portable mode better as a result.

why would anyone do that? If anything, I want a button that makes Steam believe I’m playing it 24/7.

for what it’s worth, it is the Wii U version they’re showing...
