Ugh, the headline made me think this was about military drones. Getting sick of seeing 'drone' used to refer to RC craft.

I don't consider myself 'tough'. I'm just saying that getting injured at rock shows, particularly when you're getting into mosh pits or crowding right around the front of the stage, is bound to get you injured eventually one way or another.

from what i gather, it was the venue that hired the guy, not the band.

When you get into the punk/metal/etc scenes, severe injury is pretty much par for the course. If you didn't walk away from a concert with a few cracked ribs, a black eye, possibly missing teeth and/or a fractured spine... it probably wasn't that great of a concert.

...and alienate everyone who already owns a 3DS. I'll be happier if they stick to the current setup.

made me chuckle. kudos~

Easily one of the most successful and commendable trolls I've seen in recent memory. Nice work.

"The Amazon Fire Phone is kind of whack, but being ugly is not one of its problems. ... does anyone have bones to pick with Amazon's design team?"

Partly. The proportions of it (big head, small body), coupled with the position and general appearance, instill that sort of feeling.

Why would they stop? It's among the purest of modern clickbait words.

The Rift does include three different lens sets, specifically for that purpose.

Except Shiro's not actually a pedophile. Just an unabashed masochist. The pedophilia thing came from an episode 1 gag that flew right over early previewers' heads.

Then we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Generations was pretty great, I won't argue with that. I personally just find that the novelty of moving really fast and blazing through levels wears off pretty quickly, and makes it feel less interesting as a result. I liked the platforming, pacing, and exploration of the original games, whereas with the newer games

And the video is wrong =) Hating on the old sonic games has been pretty popular as of late (because CONTROVERSY!), but it's entirely unfounded.

Yes, the character in the games is never outright called Gary, but cmon. That's totally who it is:

Sonic 2's robo-sonic was the original Mecha Sonic, and the rendition from S&K had the same name. Only the Sonic CD version was officially called Metal Sonic, and this one became the one that would reappear in later titles. Sonic 2 Mecha Sonic is sometimes referred to as Silver Sonic, though this is also incorrect and

I can appreciate this fellow's views, however some of his notes do make me cringe. e.g. his links with the (totally non-canonical) archie comics, and his confusion regarding metal sonic / mecha sonic renditions.

Except that's completely incorrect. Sonic games became shit after the genesis era, when they started focusing on speed rather than momentum. The earliest sonic games were solid momentum-based platformers with intricately-designed levels, while the newer ones are mindless speed junk.
