it's supposed to be a glitchless run, so you may not be getting anywhere with that. =x

I certainly won't disagree. I just hope it will drive interest in the open standard so we don't even have to worry about it.

I'm an IT admin, and trust me, we don't care, and really just would rather not know. I mean, really rather not. I've seen far, far worse on some of our users' PCs.

see, that's the thing. It's not a MS technology — rather, MS made their in-dash software based on MirrorLink, which is designed to be an open standard. MS themselves don't own MirrorLink, so they shouldn't really have any control over it. Also, the fact that it's an open standard means Google and Apple could design

The solution is the one MS is presenting — use a platform-agnostic system like MirrorLink so it could be compatible with everything that implements it. If Google and Apple both choose to adopt it, it'd be the absolute best-case scenario.

To be fair... that second point? That's exactly what MS is trying to do. The others, though...

I don't have links, but I recall there being an incident at some point where someone painted their real gun's flash hider orange to trick people into thinking it was an airsoft gun.

You are on the way to destruction

wow. as someone who had a pretty decent grasp on leet even I didn't catch that. that is a pretty clumsy leetification...

I have work that I want to do in the evenings, but I also am kinda interested in SGDQ. I'll leave it running in the background and if something interesting is going on, I'll take notice and stop what I'm doing to watch.

to be fair, this is talking about Japan, where getting drunk and passing out is pretty much a regular thing. yay drinking parties? even the companies get in on it, with business drinking parties being so ritual-like that it's even difficult to AVOID drinking lest you lose face in front of your coworkers.

um. I don't get it. Windows Phone has had this for ages. Like, I can't remember a time when it DIDN'T have remote-lock/wipe, and I've had three different Windows Phones dating all the way back to the first-gen devices (HTC Surround).

This is different. With this, you can have a private encrypted network for yourself that has, say, 90% of your bandwidth delegated to it. Then there'd be a public network separate from that which would only be allowed the remaining 10%.

I've actually seen 'N1' a number of times over the years. It's one of the more common ones

So you're basically saying that there's no way we're getting any form of actual net neutrality in the end, so we may as well shrug and deal with it. Cable companies don't compete with one another, they simply choose different areas in which to operate. Of course they would say "yeah, competition!" because that

For me it's not really about the ease of aiming, but rather the style/method and general feel. Obviously a lot of people manage just fine with gamepads, and I've seen a number of opinions from console gamers claiming absolute superiority even, but for me it has always felt too clumsy. I haven't played with the PS4/X1

no actual nintendo assets are being used. it's all custom art, designed to look like the same style as minish cap.

I use two-step auth with my MS account, coupled with the windows phone Authenticator app, and am pretty happy with that.
