That's pretty much why I see them as games despite lacking content we'd normally associate with games — they simply fit the term 'game' better than any other media descriptor, and even without the notion of choice they still contain all the core elements required to qualify for the title.

No, that's backwards. Net neutrality denies providers the ability to discriminate in any fashion when it comes to individual services and whatnot. They can't provide bandwidth priority to services that pay them, they can't sell 'channel' packages of different services, etc.. They have to provide the same level of

Better in what sense? Superior stats/moveset/etc? Meh. Please note that I said "I like Vulpix more than Growlithe". I did not say "Vulpix is better than Growlithe". ;p

Hm, Idunno, by that logic Blue>Red to me, because I like vulpix more than growlithe =x

so edgy

I disagree that it's a visual novel, as visual novels have a somewhat rigidly-defined set of requirements and, despite being similar in nature, this doesn't quite match up. This is more of an exploration game.

it's not based on a meme; just normal cat activity. =x

Sorry, my bad, I believe it's right — that is almost definitely Hare from guilty crown. The character design is very similar to Sawa from Tari Tari, but looking at the GC character page it's pretty clear. I couldn't recall whether or not Tari Tari even had a beach episode, so I wasn't 100% certain on it...

Okay, and as a final final note, to actually comment on the article itself:

I wasn't particularly interested in participating in this discussion, but I did want to point out a minor thing: It's worth noting that, for a long time in the early years of anime importing, the only shows that actually got any exposure in the west were shows considered safe for consumption by an unfamiliar (see:

Looks kinda like Tari Tari but I'm not totally certain on that...

When I was younger, there was a television channel called ZDTV. They focused completely on computer-related content, and had some very interesting (and entertaining, thanks to excellent hosts like Leo Laporte) shows. Being so focused on (at the time) a niche sort of genre, and presumably having a relatively small

I'd buy it.

'cept google has nothing to do with oculusVR...

A better question is, do you really have a need to transition? I still use the Zune player myself, but not because of any hardware-lock-in. I simply use it because it's my favorite media player, and if you like it, there's really not any reason to ditch it.

edit: because kinja

such badass
so edge

I pay around $90/mo for 10meg/1meg (should be 12/1 but my ISP sucks) that works when it wants to, and a phone line with no features which I don't use. It's the only thing available in my area. So, fuck you good sir =p

DDoS takes a bit of work, as you have to get that whole 'distributed' part down. A one-man DoS won't get very far, as the servers most definitely have far more bandwidth than you do, so all you'll manage to do is clog your own pipes.
