There are some public transport buses and short range golf carts that use supercapacitors for power storage, but it's not that common because they don't have as high an energy density as batteries.

This is neat, but current supercapacitors' energy densities are much lower than batteries, so they wouldn't be the best choice to replace the rechargeable batteries in a phone. The thing with de-clawing cats is, once you remove their claws, they will turn to BITING EVERYTHING, including humans. It really only creates another problem. I speak from experience, as my parents got one of our cats declawed when I was a kid.

Please think hard about declawing your cat! It actually involves removing entire bones from the cat's paws, and it can cause serious pain, both at the time and later in your cat's life.
