I disagree, those I alway thought looked busy on the clean e36 design. Personally, M contours are where it’s at for e36s. I have them on my e36 and just love them.

That’s nearly identical to the e39 M5 I had. The style 65s were terrible to clean. At least the shadow chrome hid thw brake dust well.

I’m madly in love with the M contour.

This movie definitely influenced my current daily driver.

They sold a car for over $13k?

My parent’s just sold their 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for a 2018 limited, the new ones seats and comfort are a huge downgrade. Zj seats were so nice. Honestly the only things that aren’t a downgrade in the new Jeep are the power, lack of rust and non blown speakers.

Near gound hover is one of the most dangerous conditions for a helicopter. Between ground resonance and the fact that there is no space to fix an instability while loosing altitude, it can be a tough situation.

Not being from a big city but more of a rural area, I can tell you that there are people that think of BMWs, Benzs, and Lexus as foreign crap. Their way of showing off is to buy the highest trim level American truck or SUV. I see it all the time here, large high trim level F150s and Silverados outnumber BMWs 10 to 1,

The other advantage the older cars have is usually better ground clearance with some pretty reasonable suspension travel.

One of my favorite 80s tunes!

On a similar note, I really enjoyed driving a Nissan Cube as a rental. Zippy and infinitely fun to screw with the rubber banding of the CVT. It had a hilarious horn and alarm, very practical, many cup holders. It was also purple.

My parent’s 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep was easier to parallel park than the BMW e38 740iL, hence it was the obvious choice.

This didn’t help my already high desire for an e36M3. It’s my favorite of the 3s. Best looking, intoxicating sounds, great handling, and not so much power as to make it a hoot to always wind out. I love the way the e36 cockpit wraps around you everything is perfectly placed.

With a convertible top, a dash mount really cleans up the top of the windshield.

A 1986 Benz 420SEL looked just like this. My parents hated mini vans.

I agree, especially with the Switch gear. My Austin Healey Sprite has very satisfying switch gear that is solidly mounted, you know when you actuate it. The gear shift has a very positive engagement, the manual steering with the huge wheel is super precise. The manual non assisted power brakes provide infinitely more

Scion tC. I love the look of the rear pillar and generally the whole side profile. They always catch my eye on the street and were available with a manual transmission.

My favorite interior hands down

BMW has been doing this since at least the 90s. It was always annoying since the chime used for the 37f signal was the same chime used for check engine and service lights. When you heard it you were always startled thinking you might have just heard the chime of death, just to look down and find its cold out.

If they bring over the powertrain options, the Opel Mokka is awesome. When in France I rented one with a 1.6L turbo diesel and a 6 speed manual, it was wonderful. The spunky powertrain felt just like my Mini JCW. When I got back to the US, I decided to test drive a top spec Chevy Trax ( the same vehicle) and was
