Its a clown car!
My free hand me down Oldsmobile from my grandparents has been awesome. It has been one of my my dailys since I got my license 9 years ago.
I have gone to the Detroit show with a large groupof friends every year for the past four years. You would consider us tourists as its a 4.5 hour drive to Detroit. However this year we are considering doing the NY auto show just to do something different. The Detroit show is pretty much the same every year and every…
The way manufactures use to dress up high profile tires is white stripe or white wall tires. I have them on my Oldsmobile and they make the 15 inch wheels look like 17s
Hmm, non of my family’s 15 plus year owned cars made the list. Jeep JZ, BMW e38, Oldsmobile 88.
Last time I tried super sports on the snow as soon as they touched the snow it stopped moving. Literally got my e39 M5 stuck half way out of my garage, had to push it back in. Immediately swapped on the snow tires.
Factory manual e38 7 series have four pedals like this.
There really were stick e38s in Europe, it’s not just a transporter thing. It’s becoming a common swap in them as it is very straight forward and parts exist.
Back when I owned a Lemans Blue e39 M5. It looked the business and didn’t have the boring black interior either, but a wonderful Caramel interior.
Yep, this agrees with my experience getting a replacement engine in my Mini. All of the work was approved by Mini before they would commit to the warranty work. Compression numbers and boroscope pictures were taken and sent to Mini.
I’m going to be shopping for the e36 M3 I’ve been wanting. The maintenance plan on my Mini runs out Jan 2019 and even though it is a fun car, it’s just not as raw as an e36. Also I will appreciate having back seats again as my Mini has them deleted.
The STI is far more normal, you see them all over when driving around town. One is usually surprised to still see a Fiero.
Fix the leaking master cylinders in my Sprite.
The speed restrictions on I79 and I80 were a joke. I made an hour and a half drive from Erie to South of I80 down I79, and drove on dry roads the entire way. Due to how Lake effect snow works, there was only about and inch of snow on the ground 25 miles south of Erie.
I live just south of Erie in the county. This was an unprecedented snow for the city. It really isn’t a big deal to get 1-2ft of snow, life moves on and very little shuts down. However snow as deep as what we just got, is difficult.
You should be tempted. I have a friend who just picked up an 88 Samurai to become his winter daily. I just drove it yesterday and absolutely loved it. It’s so satisfying rowing it thru the gears and having to downshift for big high speed hills. A Samurai takes the slow car fast mantra to heart.
