Headlight and side lights, also known as running lights.

That looks like a great cornfield 500 car.

I’ve seem some rather fancy chains on the rear wheels of a cop crown vic here in PA. They were made from steel cable instead of conventional chain links. They were capable of highway speeds.

This post just reminds me of when my Oldsmobile 88 hit Jalopnik. Boats are great fun to autocross!

My US model e38 740iL, e39 M5 and e36 328is all have/had that feature with the turn signals.

Suzukis where crazy popular here in Erie, PA. We had the number one selling Suzuki car dealer for years. The SX4 was the perfect car for the local market, cheap, and 4x4.

We just bought a 2018 Grand Cherokee with the V6, it is excellent. The only issue we are having is getting used to the size, it’s massive compared to the 1997 Grand Cherokee it replaced that we owned for 20 years. The power upgrade is impressive over the 4.0.

My setup’s only heat comes from running my project car. Usually that is smoky but occasionally it’s been on fire and that helps. Sadly Erie, PA is very cold in the winter, but that doesn’t deter me from working on things.

This sounds absolutely awesome. I hope someone starts an even like this nearer the east coast in the future, I would totally show up in my minty 1999 Oldsmobile 88 in bright metallic red sitting on factory correct white wall tires. I have a friend that just picked up a clean 1988 Suzuki Samurai. If I get my e36

I was thinking the same on the transmission. I have driven a few older SUVs and trucks and the only one with a longer throw than the stupid long throw in the Jk was a 1980 Grumman box van. A 6 inch throw is more than adequate. Also hopefully the transmission is better then the one in the JK, my friend has 35k miles on

I would love to see this list too.

I feel like one of these for my winter beater and my Sprite for the summer would make a good combo of cars. Both have roughly 60hp and would Park end for end in my garage.

I never knew you could recycle filters. I always assumed because of the oil they were considered waste.

It is, isn’t it.

I fully agree, the cheap car stuff was the best part of old top gear too. Supercar videos are boring because they are predictable. The car will be fast and capable. Where as cheap cars are unpredictable. It’s why old British touring car was fun, a mix of uncertainty since the big fast cars were mixes with the small

I highly recommend all roads north of Williamsport, PA. I took my M5 there back when I was attending the wedding of a friend, it was amazing.

There isn’t cable TV where I live. I live too far into the Pennsylvania sticks.

I have gotten very sleepy while driving stick. Unless your driving in town, the extra work isn’t there and it doesn’t help keep you awake.

I do like this. If I had need for an SUV in my life, a new manual 2 door wrangler would be near the top of my list. However it would have to compete with a Suzuki Samurai in the fun factor, and that is a high bar.

I am a huge BMW fan. However, now that you mention it, this really does look like a Pontiac.
