I would be disappointed, I listen to almost exclusively FM radio when I drive or a CD/tape if the radio is not interesting me. If find attaching my phone to my car is a lot more work than I want to deal with when driving.

I guess the 740 is a unicorn. My parents have been daily driving one for the last 16 years. The 2001 that they purchased 8 years ago has been quite reliable, daily driven all year, all weather.
I think the e36 3 series is the best looking of all 3 series generations. I just love the boxy styling, it’s subtly aggressive.
Who cares. The fastest internet where I live can only stream 480p video. 720p is met with buffering, I can’t even imagine using the full 4k capability of my new TV.
The last time my e36 caught fire under the hood I just blew most of it out, then used a towel to smother the rest.
I had to give a CP, only because I purchased a lower miles e36 328is for $3k. Granted this car is in amazing shape comparatively, the 328is is a heck of a lot more car. Especially since the 328is I picked up had the full from the factory M sport trim and almost every option checked. I really wouldn’t have trouble…
As I am currently stuck awaiting a delayed flight in a French airport. I am excited for this news. I got to drive a turbo diesel 6 speed manual Opel Mokka all weekend and it was phenomenal. I loved seeing all the cool French cars especially the Peugeot 206 and 207. They are just so cool and good looking.
Beautifully done. Makes me yearn for the e39 M5 I owned. Eh, I have moved on to a miniature wagon of sort with an R56 Mini built to GP spec including the rear seat delete and adding the GP rear strut bar. It doesn’t have wagon space but does have lots of space for a Mini hatch.
I agree with your thought process. The most fun M car I have driven was an e36 M3. I daily drove an e39 M5 for three years, but the lack of power in the M3 really rewarded you for wringing out the engine. The high power M5 was an amazing vehicle, but the e36 M3 was spine tinglingly good.
For me it is the e36. It’s the sharper looking miniature e38. The e38 is the most understated yet aggressive looking design. I like the e39, even owned an e39 M5, I just didn’t like the roundy nose. The rear end was very nice as well as side profile.
Interesting, I stopped paying attention to BMWs after the e65. They lost their sharp understated boxy styling.
I <3 iDx
I have seen super chargers at at least one Sheetz station.
Yes! 16 years my family has had an e38, possibly the most handsome 7 series ever. Owned an e39 M5 for a while and currently have a very sharp looking e36 328is, which is my favorite BMW design of all time.
A lot of it is people like the Mini for its looks. It’s like purchasing a Beetle.
The r56 GP also had full aero under trays attached to the diffuser.
I have a 62 AH Sprite that I drive around town a lot. Apparently people see me all over in it. Anyway, every time I go to the local weekly car show a group of people tell me I must go to the British car Club meet-up. I just always get this strange vibe from them though so I never go. I really appreciate the crowd…
But every moment of it was maddeningly lovely. It made driving more of a craft to perfect than I had ever experienced before. The car’s 61-year-old mechanicals whirred and clunked around me as I felt the transmission out. Tested the brakes. Learned the throttle. Fought with the steering.
They are for mail, my mail man drives a RHD wrangler.
