I think for a lot of people the extra overhead of having 2-3 different online email accounts (each connected to multiple clients) isn’t worth the definite benefit of having stuff in just one place.
The issue is that when I have *my* email as the account email, my spouse can’t/doesn’t get notices. And you generally can’t have two emails on record with a vendor.
Mostly I enjoy the knowledge that marketers are getting an earful of my fax machine.
I’m less worried about the idiots *buying* it. Than the rest of us having to try and not die from it.
AI driving is as almost there as is nuclear fusion. The last 15% takes orders of magnitude more work because it just can’t be done wrong.

ICEs are woefully inefficient. Wastes something like 60% of the energy input.
Assuming batteries are always made with lithium...which is already changing due to it’s shortages. Other chemistries exist that can provide similar performance/storage and more are being researched
BEV’s running off of a full coal grid are basically the same in terms of CO2 release as ICEs. Marginally better, but mostly a wash.
