This is just one of literally billions of weird edge cases that autonomous car boosters are currently pretending don’t exist. We can get to Level 4 autonomy without handling these problems, but I honestly think Level 5 will require something like genuine intelligence to make happen.

I used to go to this place in Atlanta, and if you know it, you know it. It’s called Jack’s Pizza and Wings, right there off Highland. It’s a dive bar that serves pizza and wings, and also super cheap beer. Back in 2009, they were still serving $1 pints of “Old 4th Ward” which I’m pretty sure was just Miller.

When it comes to technical work, autos win. No one really claims otherwise.  This is allowing you to enjoy rowing your gears where it will spend 90% of its time (the road) and still have control off-road.  Plus there are some tertiary benefits like bump starting if your battery is flat and so on.  

Yeah, everyone knows that Ford will never be able to get significant power from a V6.

The lack of a V8 was a huge mistake. Nobody is going to buy a V6 Raptor.
