“Why aren’t people buying Mazdas?”
“Why aren’t people buying Mazdas?”
“This new ride needs to be safe and reliable...”
Woodford is one of those not so commonly used liquors? Every flight I’ve been on recently has been out of it, and I’ve heard multiple times “Yeah we always run out of Woodford fast.”
This has not been my experience when purchasing 2 new cars in the last 5 years. In both cases we negotiated on total price with nary a mention of financing. Then after we’d agreed on a price comes “would you like to take advantage of our promotional financing rate?”
Either I’m such a terrible negotiator (possible) that…
Interesting. Thanks.
Yep. 0.9% over 6 years with Mazda.
Yeah, this is what I never get about the gap insurance stuff. As long as the insurance payout is reasonably close to the actual car’s value, why would it matter what I owe on my loan at the time of a total loss? The loan you owe money on and the car you bought with that money are totally separate issues after the…
I know, I know. Jalopnik has posted countless articles about how long term car loans are bad. But here I just took one out. I guess I’m part of the problem.
I worked for one of those places in college. Is that worse?
I honestly believe that this may have been a lucky coincidence, because I’m unconvinced the man at the helm can come up with such complex strategy. But in a way I hope you’re right. I’m somewhat comforted by the thought that we could be seeing deceptive and underhanded strategy for hidden tax increases by a dishonest…
It’s not even just that they can raise prices to match the new market price. They must raise their prices to match the new market price. Otherwise everybody would be placing orders, and they’d sell more than they can make. Any plant has a capacity limit. Production ramp-ups don’t just happen overnight. The entire…
Why are they all so long? Just because that’s all that’s available? That’s what I found when I went shopping in stores for a dog leash.
I had to make my own leash, about 18 inches long, with some rope and a carabiner. I suppose people with short dogs might need them a little longer, but not as long as the ones above.…

Got any references on the suspension geometry change? This is the first I’ve heard of it.
To my knowledge the only suspension change was the update to the Club dampers in 2018, which also applied to RFs in 2017.
Take it from me, a 2019 owner:
Get the Miata. It’s practical enough.
That trip now and then is a very big deal. That trip now and then is the ONLY time I’m actually trying to carry enough crap to justify having such a big vehicle in the first place. It’s the entire reason the vehicle exists.
Yes, now. Now that they’ve depreciated on the used market, the target demographic can finally begin to consider them.
THIS is the smarter stepping stone toward autonomous cars. Well done Toyota.
My manual truck and I will politely disagree with you, because I believe that driver engagement is just one of many benefits to a manual transmission. But no sweat; we’re in agreement where it counts.
what you meant so say was manual, the proper transmission for a sport sedan car, truck, or motorbike
