Don’t most cars automatically disengage the AC compressor clutch when you go WOT? Sounds like Ford missed the idea on that one.

    Fantastic review!

    Let’s make this more accurate.
    The Subaru has:
    Features that FLC prefers.
Comparable resale value in my experience, having owned both.
Different engineering. (As an engineer, I actually have no idea what you mean.)
    An engaging 6 cylinder.
A better driving experience off road.
A worse driving experience on road.

Yep, that’s about the only wagon competition out there. And if you drive the 2 cars, they’re nothing alike. The Subie is a big, jacked up AWD thing, and it feels like one. That’s great if you need that capability, and it sucks if you don’t. It can also only be purchased (new) with an automatic transmission.

I suppose it all depends on how you need to use that space. The 18% more cargo volume of the wagon definitely isn’t as big a difference as I thought there would be. Thanks for pointing it out. The Civic hatch doesn’t look like it’d be as comfortable a place for our large dog to hang out on road trips, but I must admit

But Honda won’t sell you a proper replacement for that sportwagen.
That’s how I ended up with another VW. Not because I wanted to support the company, but because nobody else is bothering to compete with them.

No judgement here, but you do seem to realize that you’re quite unusual in your desire to be indoors all the time. That alone should probably be enough to show that your personal experiences are unlikely to explain other peoples’ bicycling habits, without needing to assume that those people are insane.

Tell me more about subsection A please. How do these bicycle racers become bicycle racers? They surely must not have ridden before reaching the competitive level, right? Did they all work their way up in capability while children or while poor?

Are you just trolling, or do you really not understand that (A) a bicycle is useful as more than just a toy and (B) spending more than 200$ on a toy is a totally normal thing that lots of people do?

“However, if and when the time comes to sell your car you would be obligated to disclose that damage happened even if it wasn’t on the CarFax.”

Lest the rest of my comment make it sound like I disagree with you, let me make clear that I do not. If you need to carry a bunch of people or a few people and a bunch of stuff, a minivan is probably the right tool for the job. I have no clue why some people hate them. If some day I need one, I will not hesitate to

“The selected test-drive vehicle can be at a location of the customer’s choosing, such as their home, their office or a coffee shop.”

“The problem with that notion is the layperson wants to assume that Tesla’s autopilot will totally handle all the driving...”

I don’t see what’s so ludicrous about calling Tesla’s system “autopilot”. Autopilot has always just been a fancy name for something very similar to cruise control.
I’ve flown airplanes with autopilot. It manages heading and altitude, letting me shift some of my focus to other tasks. It will NOT keep me from running

You know, it is kind of better this way!

Somehow I didn’t realize you could buy a “TRUMP SUCKS” hat until your post. Thank you for alerting me to this.

Damn it. Speaking as a Tennessean, Kapernick on the squad is the one thing that might have gotten me to pay attention to the Titans.

It WOULD be a really exciting experiment in short-term inflation though!

Same. My shiny, new, low-mileage TDI Golf Wagon sits right next to my soon-to-be-sold-back old, high-mileage TDI Golf Wagon in the garage.

Indeed, The Home Depot allows pets, not just service dogs. Lowe’s does too.
