    Seriously.
WTF is the “I have a daughter, so I care about women” sentiment supposed to say about somebody when he states it? Because what it actually says is “I wasn’t human enough to care about half of other humans until I had one that I was directly responsible for and realized how shitty people like me were.”

I went and drove them both back to back to try to answer this question.
I preferred the MX-5. So did my wife. The MX-5 just feels smaller for one thing. It makes me feel more connected to the car somehow. There’s a lot of car around you in the 86. The MX-5 also has a much nicer interior.
It felt like there was more to

I did mean cold weather, yes. Typed in a hurry and didn’t catch my error. Thanks.

The humble thermostat is very good at controlling temperatures.
Blocking off air is all about air drag. It’s less draggy for air to be pushed around the outside of a car than it is for it to flow through the middle. Race cars and line haul trucks can both be seen with temporary blockages on their grills in hot weather,

Oh, I did. But depreciation curves apply to cheap strollers too. Money still would have been saved by getting a cheaper one.

Counterpoint from a fellow dad: While I agree that there’s a big difference between a nice stroller and a cheap one, I’m not sure the nice stroller was money well spent for us. It has barely ever left the house. The baby-backpack, the little red wagon, my shoulders, and the kid’s own shoes all get far more use. She

16 hours. Getting your conceal carry permit in IL requires a minimum of 16 hours of professional training.
I lived there and got my permit. I thought the training was pretty good. It won’t make you a marksman, but it’s enough to have you pretty comfortable with safe operation of the weapon.

“Furthermore, the researchers recommend you take multiple, evenly-spaced vacations of this length a year, as opposed to using all of your vacation time at once.”

I got the Worx model, which appears to be roughly comparable but a little cheaper. Mine does have a rain sensor. But honestly, who cares? It has to be raining pretty hard before mine will trigger and go park itself. But it’s not like it’s hurting anything while it’s cutting in the rain anyway. Sure, some of the blades

You do have to set up a boundary. It’s just a wire that you run all the way around the area to be cut, staking it into the ground every meter. As long as you have reasonably healthy grass, the wire will be totally hidden by it within about a month.

If you have a pretty flat yard, you can get away with just about anything. Significant slopes are where the cheap ones have their biggest issues.

Incorrect. It is impossible to learn with your brains splattered.

Yeah, it gets pretty old. Buying used can reasonably be expected to boost new car sales for that model/type. It improves resale value, and people consider resale value when making a new car purchase decision.

    Uh, I did.
Well, not brown. I didn’t prefer the brown.

This sucks, no matter how it happened.

You might be onto something there!
I always reworked the lyrics of that song in my head to avoid the discomfort of hearing it the way he actually said it.

2nd Gear: Repairs Are Where The Revenue Is At

“I feel like some of the more common repairs from 30 years ago now require more technical knowledge than your average shade tree mechanic has ever learned or has access to.”
One important thing another reply mentioned: The more common repairs from 30 years ago just aren’t common repairs anymore. It’s totally normal
