That sounds fantabulous. My husband does something similar but cubes the extra firm tofu and we do it as a stir fry with broccoli, red & green peppers, cauliflower ( i love the stuff), mushrooms and onions. I'm going to have to start using it in more stuff!

I'm lucky to live in a pretty bikeable city and I work and live off of bike trails, so it's really awesome. Unfortunately, I have to get on city streets to get from the trail to my house, or climb two death hills to take a quieter surface road. The quieter road has no sidewalks, and I greatly enjoy pissing off

OH! Just FYI, marinate some tofu in sliced garlic and balsamic vinegar for awhile (i do about an hour because i really love balsamic) and slice up some roasted red peppers and sun dried tomatoes. Do your quinoa as normal (i usually make it with veggie stock instead of water) and then while the quinoa is going, sauté

I have academic ADD, so I have to be working on a couple things at a time. Otherwise, I get myself wrapped up into a giant stress ball. If I am doing multiple directions of research and writing at a time, I find it easier to harness my thoughts and lay out a roadmap for my actual writing.

You are correct on the wear and tear injuries. I'm in academic mode and not picking up on the most obvious things. I call it 'brain overload brain'.

I am!!! I'm working on a couple actually. Well, three to be exact. And here I am on Jez while waiting for the dishwasher to be done so I can color eggs with my girls.

Injured in what way? As long as you're keeping up good nutrition and good hydration and paying attention to what your body is telling you, it shouldn't be an issue in that regard. If you run in shoes, make sure they are good shoes that fully support your feet.

You know, I read that once somewhere on the internet and I kept trying it. Everyone that I did it to (luckily all friends) noticed when i licked their elbows. I was disappointed.

That movie makes me cry like a baby. As does Toy Story 3. Those movies are evil.

Basically because no one gives a fuck about those of us that don't fit into accepted standards of beauty. Why should fashion change? We should all just lose weight to mold ourselves into the 'norm.' I find it sad. I'm glad that stores like Lane Bryant exist, and I am growing to love Torrid. Just because I wear a

I would consider it, but right now it isn't financially feasible. I think it's possible that she could do well with it, but unfortunately it won't work for us right now.

Most definitely. My husband shot her shows here, but this was late enough in the concert that it was after the publicist types pulled all the photographers. It makes much more sense in person.

Um, her music isn't too bad, really. I have to be honest. Like, I can sit through an entire concert and sing along to songs from Speak Now in the car with the kids.

That video has become one of my first go-tos when I've had a crappy day and need a giggle.

Precisely. They get angry and scratch you.

It's less a gong and more a giant bell. That part of the concert is actually pretty cool. Ok, I'll admit it. The whole damn show was pretty cool. She's a great performer.

The taking away everything is what we've resorted to this time. We've also gone pretty major with taking away her major bedroom renovation and her birthday slumber party. She has to earn everything back and understands that things are going to be very very different at home until we see a major turn around.

LOL, the answer is ALWAYS that she just wants to read. Or watch some TV.

See, we've been taking away things and it just doesn't seem to affect her. She acts upset about it when we do it, but then she just kind of accepts it and moves on.

And this was me, except that it was in high school. And I self medicated with um, illegal stuff and managed to pull a 3.9 GPA without putting in any effort. I started anti-depressants as an adult after she was born and I was suffering from near crippling PPD. I stopped and then started again after a particularly
