Trump has openly stated that he would not rule out a database for Muslims which means, at the very least, he’d consider it. He also talked about “...a lot of systems” “...beyond databases”. Tracking members of a society is always the beginning of something more sinister and, sometimes, outright fascism.

The manager isn’t indentured to the client. His job is to advise, which he did. And he wasn’t happy with his client’s initial decision, for which he was free to withdraw his services or talk the client out of that poor decision. All legit, all cool.
