I don’t know. It’s weird now. He always had pervy comedy, but he presented himself as a helpless, hapless underdog while he was doing it. Now we know he was a very powerful and well-respected comedian whose disapproval could ruin careers, so that pierces that veil and his creepy jokes just become ... creepy.

There’s no answer to that question. Some people will forgive CK, or at least be willing to give him money. Others won’t. He might have a successful career again or he might not. It’s not as if he’s entitled to one.

He's done nothing to indicate that his attitude, views, or behavior have changed. An apology without genuine repentance isn't worth the paper it's printed on. 

And his cover is “I wanted to talk to her about getting a choreographer we both like hired by the show”? That’s insane. On what planet does a contestant on the game show have influence over people hired by the production staff?

How would a contestant auditioning to be on the show help him get a choreographer hired on the show???

I’m not sure it's right to tell other people that something that clearly bothers them shouldn't be bothered by it.

Manos: The Hands of Fate is one of them.  MST3k made it palatable, if you watch the actual film it’s boring as hell.  Though I remember thinking there were a few sparks of good ideas in it, the entire execution was so inept you just find yourself wanting it to end.

I’m truly sorry for the traumatic experiences you’ve had to suffer through, but trying to use your trauma to invalidate the experiences of another person, even a famous white person, doesn’t make you come off as righteous, it makes you come off as bitter and sad.

Thanks for being like this. In my experience, a single trauma starts the Trauma Olympics and listing multiple traumatic experiences makes you a liar or attention whore. You can’t win with most people, and endless invalidation sucks.
